In earlier years he sang the entire song. You're right that it was a bit unnatural in the movie, because the opera singer's voice wasn't enough and some sounds were generated by a computer.

I honestly think that if you ever decided to rewind sections of Dimash's performances and get blown again by it that it's always absolutely perfectly OKAY with us for you to repeat it because we are absolutely addicted to his voice...well, I can speak for myself and say that I am for surely addicted. Everyday, for 3 years getting hits from him by reactioners is an addiction of mine. (One that I can live through this time) We don't mind if we get more because he's the GOAT. He's got so many good songs and performances that you can't go wrong. Stranger would be a great choice. Others will be too. I'm just letting you know that if you're blown away, and your brain can handle it, repeating mind-blowing segments is definitely okay with us Dears. 🤯🌟🦌

Dimash rearranged this for 1, to be humanly possible and 2, to make it more sonically pleasing than the original computer sampled portions of the song. I actually think this version would have been better in the movie. It's so good you don't notice how different it is from the original.

This song was made with a computer for the Fifth Element movie. It is said that a human being can't sing it, not because of the vocal range, but because of the speed ... So far, Dimash is the only one who sings it at the same speed, and I think Dimash sounds way better than the alien in the movie ❤❤😂😂

There are other people who do it, but not as perfect as Dimash! He does it better than the Blue Alien, and part of that was computer generated! Dimash’s tone is so beautiful compared to the Blue Alien!

It's not an exact version of the movie as they added a metallic effect by computer which obviously Dimash can't replicate. Also please ignore the statement above that this wasn't live. There is no professional recording of Dimash singing this prior to him singing it with Confessa in The Singer show in 2017 which was somewhat spoiled as he had a mic failure partway through. The only recording done prior to this was of a university performance that was only captured by camera phone and there ain't no way Dimash is going to use a poor quality camera recording as a concert playback track. Unfortunately the above poster is convinced that Dimash rarely sings live and tries to convince all reactors likewise. In two separate performances he actually also takes this higher with an improvised whistle note somewhere in the middle.

Well I heard several Women try to do it, and some of them did it, let's say "good". But till now, Dimash is the only man, I know of how sang this. To be true a Counter Tenor might be able to sing the high parts, but not the low. And those runs, are something else. Dimash sings not exactly the wired runs, of the blue Alien, but he is dam close. For me this is the best Interpretation I ever heard.

Its usually female artists that try this one and there are some good versions. I haven't heard another male singer attempt it. There is a section of the song that was computer enhanced and no one can replicate it but the notes sang by Dimash are from the original arrangement ❤

It was written to be unable to be done, but Dimash is not typical 😅. It sounds like you have heard from some over zealous Dimash fans, they really need to lighten up there is no need gor it and Dimash would NOT approve, they hurt him instead of helping. For me, as amazing as his high registrer is, my favorite of all his songs is Samaltau. The music video is beautiful, but the Tokyo Jazz version blows me away every time. Done during lockdown in his home studio with two world class musicians playing Kazhack intruments and Dimash (singing cross legged on a piano stool!). A lament from his country's tragic history during WW1 from a young man's letter. About 500,000 men were forcibly conscripted into the Russian army, leaving only old men, young children and women behind. An estimated 100,000 returned to massive famines. The two stringed kobyz and sybyzgy fluie give the sounds of the steppes in a magical fashion as well.

Found alone at a bus stop, in a blizzard, with a broken collarbone, Diana was orphaned at age 3 due to an apparently abusive mother. She had a speech problem, so the orphanage gave her singing lessons to help. Lucky little Diana, luckier world! Everyone was amazed . Everyone still is. Diana has remained humble despite her success and tries to give back to the children of the orphanage when she can. Class act. She is 20 now. Try things from her channel. Most have captions. My Huge City and Dune are her two newest though I prefer Winter Without Snow since it is a 90's style music video that shows her acting ability. Enjoy the ride!

Here is a link to a fan made video putting the blue alien and Dimash side by side but singing the aria as well as the insane ending. During the Aria part, Dimash is blurred because it is an old video from when he was a younger teen at school I believe. Na verdade existem outros artistas que já fizeram cover dessa música. Na sua esmagadora maioria é mulher. E algumas delas cantam essa ópera muito bem, mas nenhuma é capaz de fazer o grave (obviamente). Dimash é o único que consegue fazer do grave ao agudo com perfeição. Like you and many others I *love* that movie! Other singers have attempted it. None (not even Dimash) that I've listened to have duplicated the movie song so well I don't get distracted by slight infelicities. Frankly even DQ's first attempt (at the The Singer competition a few months prior to this Bastau concert version) failed to fully satisfy me (though I really love the ending he did then!) But with this version I felt fully satisfied and had to go back to replay the song in the movie to spot small infelicities between DQ's version and the movie one.

Dimash´s version is slightly modified to be singable. The movie song was electronically enhanced indeed because of huge fast jumps that really nobody can do, not even Dimash. His version is still the best. Also, what we hear here is a recording from 2016, not a live version.
