That was my same reaction. Except my was more like, finally he is going to show his beautiful unique voice. I have always known he has a beautiful voice because he is always singing when he sings with big bang but he let's the main vocals shine. He also makes background voices for the main vocals same as TOP but many people don't notice that. GDs voice has always capture my attention and he sure is a totally complete artist. This song came out after T.O.P went through all that happened in 2017, I was a MESS when I had my first listen. Ofc it's not about T.O.P, but it was such a sad song during such a sad moment. I still get super sad everytime I listen to it. Btw, this was all done one-shot. Also at 2:08 (this video not the MV) the background spells out VIP. 2014 is his birth date 18+8+1988=2014. Untitled is about how he had lost himself Kwon Jiyong to G Dragon because of fame and such. The whole album is about Kwon Jiyong and MOTTE is about rebirth. Basically he wants to show himself without all the glamour and go back as Jiyong

GD really is a hopeless romantic, he also wrote the song If You, it has a similar feeling and probably my favourite song by Bigbang. I think you will enjoy it a lot.

I am late but better late than never right?😊this song is included in his last album before his enlistment.it is the one only true kwon jiyong album he said,and it's actually a usb,yes a usb with a hand writing of his mother written on it,base on the tag when he was born.the usb was colored in red like it is his blood, and it will literally remove with you touched it like a blood.and i can proudly say that bought one,and it is worth buying for.cause you can only access the other song by using the usb online.the usb has a password before you can access.inside includes behind the scenes,photos and a mv that you can only watch with the usb.

Just to expand on how amazing this song and MV is, it was released last year on his self titled album Kwon Jiyong. The entire concept of the album was like a play about his life, and each of the five songs was one of the acts. Untitled 2014 was Act 3. I highly recommend you listen to the entire album with lyrics because I don’t think there is anything more human and revealing of Jiyong’s true thoughts about his life than what he’s created in this album. The song Superstar talks about his loneliness due to his fame, and the finale of the album Divina Commedia is a truly heartbreaking song of him questioning his own life and fame. I really think it’s a masterpiece in his career. Even the album itself was released on a USB that was engraved with his mother’s handwriting from his hospital tag when he was born, then coated in a red ink that kind of rubs off on your fingers to symbolize his birth. Just GAH. He is truly an artist of our time.

GD is in military so he is not active and he didn't release any new music yet he is voted korea's number 1 idol voted by knetzs and also choosed by the critics, he is also the number 1 kpop artist to list in the gardian's best boy groups' members in the world lol Nike even announced they will wait for him to launch another line inspired by his brand and there are a lot of articles talking about how he is the non replaceable fashion icon in korea and that there are no new trends in kpop after he went lol alll happened this week , he is also trending in melon (one of the biggest korean platforms) every day so it's really scary how he is doing nothing yet his impact keep going , i'm really impressed every week there are new stuff about him new achievements new recognition which is the first time to happen for an artist in military lol

Here we go with the theories XD So there is this one with his birth date : 18+08+1988=2014. There is this other theory that this song is for his ex Kiko Mizuhara, he was with her in 2014 and they didn´t end on good terms. And some people say it has something to do with T.O.P too, since his scandal had place a little before its release and GD actually changed the title track on his mini album from Bullshit to Untitled 2014. I personally don´t think this song is for T.O.P but I do believe it was changed for him , because Bullshit is obviously a less appropriate song for the circumstances.

Originally it was supposed to be called Bulls**t 2014 but he changed it to Untitled, 2014 because of what happened to T.O.P when he oppositely overdosed ended up hospitalized & his military term was postponed until further notice on top other things that G.D was going through during his comeback during that year. This MV we got to see a more softer gentle side of our Leader G.D.

This song is so beautiful, I was so sick at the time of the concert and I went just to see him sing it live, to this day it is one of my top 20 songs of all times, it is beautiful and what it says is so sad, but he managed to move the attention of what happened at the time to him and it worked... He is a genius.

Thank you for reacting to bigbang and bigbang members! I actually come to love GD because of his angst when he sings, the swag, the rockstar vibe but ironically this is my fav song of his. It just feels so raw and pure and straight speaking to your heart. This is actually more of Jiyong, idk if that makes any sense but I mean the him behind the cameras & public. Plus this song shows how versatile he is, golden vocals! Btw, they say this mv was literally one shot, no cuts. I read somewhere that it only took them an hour or two to shoot this everything was on the spot because this wasn't supposed to be a single and they changed plans the very last minute. Yet he pulled it off perfectly! He's really more than a singer/idol he's an artist.

when you read the eng lyrics it reads as a love song and the theories that it's about an ex are everywhere. Im probably one of the few people who disagrees about it being about an ex. When you said this is a very different G-Dragon, you were right because this isnt GD, this is Kwon Jiyong in the MV. This song is off his album Kwon Ji Yong, every song in it is about himself and his whole concept for both his album and his tour was G-Dragon vs Kwon Ji Yong. I dont know if you noticed but VIP is written in the clouds behind him he is basically the I. Many said it wasnt there but then GD himself posted a pic on IG of a ss of that moment with VIP highlighted which pretty much proves the VIP in the clouds wasnt a fluke but was intentional. I think that should be enough proof that even though the song reads like a love song, which it is but I dont think in a romantic or former romantic way. Also, GD open his cafe "Untitled, 2017"obviously inspired from his song and his cafe is a gift to VIP, why would he give VIP a gift, inspired by his song if the song was a about an ex gf? I think tge song is mostly to his past self and in some ways VIP. He has lived his entired life being shiny and flashy G-Dragon, he isnt really happy. He wants to now live and be not so flashy and shiny Kwon Ji Yong. He fears his fans wont accept him without the mask of GD.
