The video of the Aladdin song was at 16, after fame, earlier this year killing time in a hotel room in Paris, showing the same open, oddball personality. She's working at staying real.
The live action Alladin is now Grace's favorite movie which accounts for her very effective tribute. I can easily see her being a great director some day. She has even said she sees every song she sings like a movie. But yeah, people love her for her personality as much as for her amazing talent. Glad to see you laughed as much at Maxi Sloosh as I did.
Grace has an amazing sense of humour. Maxi Sloosh is as funny as anything on SNL. And she did it for school. Of course like most teachers with no imagination she got a low mark for her effort. It is genuinely funny though.
Love the review! I've felt for a long time that far from being another Grace could well be the next Carol Burnett. Grace has been fighting boredom in the "shelter at home" months by playing with GarageBand. Her joyous playful personality is amazing....she can make a cranky old (--------) such as myself smile and giggle just a little and that takes some doing.
Understandable that Grace now, at 16, would be embarrassed by some of her early vids, but she will thank the stars for these when she's older. I remember being that age like it was yesterday. You're emerging into adulthood and want to be taken seriously, so you don't want to keep being reminded that you're not an adult yet. There were times in my teen years when I would have preferred the Klingon age of ascension ceremony over any number of embarrassments. I'm pretty sure, though, that Grace does understand that these vids are relatable to young and old alike, or even freeing to anyone who feels inhibited.
Loved you seeing Crazy Grace. She is unique. She can do funny and turn around then put so much emotion into singing a song that you feel what she feels. I am sooo glad I subscribed a long time ago!
I love these, however I would have loved for you to see her win the rising star award from billboard it truly shows how articulate and humble she is as a person. Some of her more recent interviews also showcase her personality as an artist.

It is my understanding is that Maxy Sloosh was done for a school project on commercials. I hear that the teacher didn't care for it. But then a music teacher told her that she didn't have a voice for singing.
Yes, she mentioned that in the Zach Sang interview. He was so negative her music teacher asked if she was alright. But Grace, being Grace, didn't let it get her down.

Yes, Dave is great as with the rest of Grace's family. I'm sure they had the normal day to day stuff, but I so wish my parents where more supportive like them.

She's being kind of wild and crazy in the beginning of this video, probably because she's hanging out with Olivia (her sister) but speaking of being a natural imitator there's one little section from about 14:00 - 15:00 minutes that got me LMAO!! I just realized that you have 2 different reactions with the exact same name. This one and an earlier one of Grace clips of singing performances. I wonder if that might put some people off from clicking on this one, because they think that they have already seen this? I love the emotion that Grace put into the Scarecrow song when she sang the word "pain". I have heard some other versions of the Scarecrow song. Nobody else that I have heard puts emotion into this song. Grace is unique. She was making up songs and putting emotion into them since she was 3 years old. If there was ever a born entertainer, Grace is definitely one of them.
