If you are reacting to Death Battle now, I would recommend reacting to season 5 and season 6 death battles primarily, as season 5 is when they got a huge jump in research and their videos became much better

Yeah, this is a good fight. They've done a LOT of Deathbattles over the years between many different opponents: Sonic Vs. Mario, Cloud vs. Link, Deadpool vs. Pinkie Pie, and even Superman vs. Goku (TWICE). You should definitely react to more of these. One of my favorites is Silver Samurai (Marvel) vs. The Shredder (TMNT). They also do DBX, which is quick, research-less battles determined by commenter votes.

they do this in every death battle. it is a lot of work, but in the end, it is worth it. every episode is fantastically done i will recommend Shao Khan vs M. Bison that one is full of haymakers. also watch it to the very end, and it shows who battles next

The fun thing with all of capt. Falcon’s backstory is it was in all the instruction manuals and this random OVA they made like 20 years ago

A lot of their videos are fun, but as an animation fan, not all of the battles are that well conceived and paced. Some fights have an animator doing sprite animation (such as this one), others are 3D usually done by their in-house team. Other videos have more thorough logic put into the analysis than others. Their research team and animators do a lot of work, but some videos turn out notably worse than others. This is my list of recommendations for some of their best. The original channel was called Screwattack until they recently just changed it to death battle. That’s basically all they’ve been known for in the last 10 or so years. They also partnered with RoosterTeeth. You gotta look at their older death battles too. I highly recommend IronMan vs Lex Luthor

You should seriously consider doing a set of reactions to this series. It's great content and very entertaining. Yes the first season can be a little rough, but in their defense: they didn't have anywhere near the budget/resources they have now back then. Episode one is Samus vs Boba Fett. I'd suggest you go in order if you can.

Death Battle is a fantastic show, and I highly reccomend reacting to them. Just stay away from the first 24 Episodes. Season 1 wasn't, how shall we say, good. Of course, feel free to watch it if you wish, but expect a severe drop in quality. Here's a small list I compiled that should give the average person a "taste" of what Death Battle does. Consider these my recommendations. In no way do you have to watch these, but I think you might like them (and no, as you've seen, you don't have to know the characters, DB gives you a great analysis of them even for folks who don't know who they are).
