His Barbie Girl cover will never cease to entertain me just because of how fucking DONE he looks the entire time 😂 But Hellfire is one of my favorite. His Bells of Notre Dame is also not to be missed. And his most recent cover of Be Prepared

Jonathan Young also did a collab w/ Malinda from Twisted Translations that put _Hellfire_ thru many languages in Google Translate then back into English. He sings complete nonsense with that same dark intensity & it's spectacular

This is the only version of Hellfire that actually makes me feel bad for "frollo", you can actually see the pain this is causing him, and I love it! I've listened to this video far too many time, and it still gets to me.

He is so dang talented with a huge backlog of covers and original songs, he actually just released a new song Jetpack Race and a whole original album coming out with a band, really hype for what's coming.

Great choice, definitely voted for this one. I love how dead inside he looks doing Barbie Girl ahaha! If you want more Jonathan Young, I suggest my three favorites. One Disney cover, and two of his own songs. Cover is either version (he remade it in 2019) of Be Prepared. Originals are Bait and All Men Must Die.

It absolutely helps tbat this song is so dark and twisted and he does alot of metal covers so this would be right up his alley. He absolutely and unquestionably nails an over the top feel of this and it is GLORIOUS

You managed to capture Jon in two VERY different stages of his youtube career. You got top of his game, Disney Prince of Darkness Jon, then you went straight to post irony, done with the RU-vid machine Jon, even more than the All Star video.

Awesome. If you want another great, powerful cover with Jonathan Young there's Deliver Us from Prince of Egypt which is a collab with Caleb. Also, if you want even another cover of hellfire, Caleb Hyles did two (the recent updated version is the better one I think).

Yes to the double feature. Johnathan actually has done a collaboration with Peter Hollens. "Game Of Thrones: Rains Of Castamere (Metal Cover)" well Peter is the King Of Collaborations, the list of artists that he hasn't done a collaboration with is shorter than the list of those he has.

Jonathan Young is awesome! It's great seeing him on the channel. Another fantastic singer and metal artist on youtuber that he collabs a lot with is Caleb Hyles. You should definitely check him out as well as more from Jonathan Young! Related to this, one of the collabs they've done together is actually The Bells of Notre Dame, which no surprise they absolutely kill. As for Caleb Hyles' solo stuff, he has a great list to choose from, but one of my favorites is his cover of This Life is Mine (a song from the RWBY soundtrack). His range is incredible and his voice is just stunning at times, and that song really shows it off amazingly.

Jonathan Young's more normal fare like Hellfire is just some bloody amazing work. From this one, you should really watch The Bells of Notre Dame, but really... you pretty much are incapable of going wrong with any of his covers. His Disney covers in particular... I mean, hell, he makes _Shiny_ from Moana intense. But if you want a villain song taken several orders of magnitude higher than the original, you need to watch In the Dark of the Night from Anastasia. The original is... one of the goofiest villain songs around, but Jonathan really pulls it to where it should have been and then some. As for Barbie Girl... I kind of can't help but feel like he did that one in protest. Like, way too many people were asking him way too often to cover that song, so he just did a cracked-out version... and the lack of emotion in the video kind of supports that idea for me XD In that vein, you should see his covers of Do You Want to Build a Snowman and even Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Now, some of his other works that I love are his cover of Misty Mountains and For the Dancing and the Dreaming from How to Train Your Dragon 2. Misty mountains... people love Peter Hollens and Tim Foust's cover of the song, but quite frankly... it's impossible for me to take that one seriously with Tim's country accent in his voice. I love you Tim, but that wasn't the song for you despite your base range. Dancing and the Dreaming... is just a beautifully done, clean cover. One last cover that I'll suggest is the cover he did with his frequent collaborator, Caleb Hyles, called Wolf in Sheep's Clothing. The emotion in that video is just... amazing. Like unbelievably powerful. So yes, I'll leave it there. I could recommend videos from Jonathan all day... I just think that he's a musician that doesn't get the credit he deserves. In any event, sayonara sucker ;)

I think you would love Leo Moracchioli (find him at Frog Leap Studios, studio he created), he does metal covers of a popular songs (old and new). I think you would love Africa, Listen to your Heart, Hello by Adele or Dance Monkey, but you could go down the rabbit hole with him and listen 30 or more songs easily (I have multiple times!!). If I’d have to suggest a video from him, I’d suggest his covers of Other friend from Steven Universe, or This life is mine from RWBY, those are dope.
