This is the reason why Asami (lead vocalist) is perfect for this band. With her R&B background, she's so versatile in terms of the types of genres/sub-genres that Lovebites play, and she sounds amazing in all of them ! As for Miyako (lead guitarist on stage left), I'm always in awe of her seamless instrumentation progression in this song : acoustic guitar --> piano --> lead guitar --> piano --> lead guitar

They play heavy metal, but their strength is that they each have different backgrounds and all have songwriting skills. This song was written by vocalist Asami with the help of MAO, who has supported LOVEBITES since their formation, and draws on her experience as an R&B/Jazz singer. Other works by this duo include "A Frozen Serenade," another metal ballad masterpiece.
To me this is the best power ballad of all time; it showcases Asami’s vocals and I always love when Miyako plays the piano. Next recommendations “Empty daydream”, “Edge of the world” (live)
this song was about the only break they got to slow down a bit with in this concert. the rest of the show - super high octane. one more you want to check out for asami's vocals is 'edge of the world' live. it starts off slow with a piano piece with asami's vocal and accelerates as it goes along into high energy here is a link for a future reaction : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UZjxMjBop7w.html
Asami shows off her R&B background and Miyako shows off her Gary Moore influence on guitar. One of the 3 "E" songs from the band that are all epic masterpieces. Another reason why you can't pigeon hole these musicians into any particular genre, they can play anything especially LIVE!!!!
Have you ever sat in a 1968 Pontiac GTO with 350 hp under the hood, and the driver is only going 25mph, and you can feel all that power in reserve, just waiting to explode, and you almost get the shakes? That's how watching this group do this song makes me feel.
