Her nodules sometimes prevent her from hitting some notes. But she killed it.

It was the only standing ovation that night and she was again robbed by the Grammys!

Let's not forget that these 2 songs were probably the hardest songs to sing released that year including her entire album. This performance basically ran through 4 different octaves. We belong together seems like an easy song but the vocal dynamics and stamina in there are super hard and Fly like a bird well we can hear upper chest belting, falsetto transitions, she sings through and entire gospel choir, intentional voice breaks and she goes from upper chest to head to whistle all in the same breath and the phrasing in that song is crazy and last but not least she finishes enunciation words in the 6th and 7th octave.

She was super nervous here, too. Believe it or not, but she's got pretty bad stage fright. Plus, she has vocal nodules (little growths on your throat/vocal boards), that she's had since she was a kid, and sometimes they effect her voice. Her now, when she sings, she needs to warm up and build her voice inside of when she was younger; just singing and everything sounds great. I loved your reaction, though!
