When it comes to Mohanlal, it is literally 'old is gold'. That movie where he conducts music is "Devadoothan". Very different movie in terms of story. Have you watched "Thenmavin Kombathu"? My fav. He is the best when he is doing common man.

Mohanlal's acting range is infinity!!! I feel the same way about Mammootty as well, but among the two, my favourite is Mohanlal. Thanks Melanie. You're my favourite movie reviewer on RU-vid!! ❤️
How many characters .. How many faces ... A single man .. ❣️ Undoubtedly, there is no other man whom the Malayalees have celebrated beyond this. ! HBD Mohanlal 🔥
One mohanlal classic that my husband and i always go back to is “Akkare Akkare Akkare” a comedy with duo mohanlal and sreenivassn who come to america as detectives😂
@@PardesiReviews Yes, that's the one. It's a trilogy and Akkare Akkare Akkare is the third. Chronological order: 1) Nadodikkaattu, 2) Pattanaprevesham 3) Akkare Akkare Akkare
It is always a pleasure to watch reviews by someone who is so very knowledgeable about the regional cinema and its distinct culture. This is what sets you apart. Thanks for sharing!
That's what actor Anoop Menon Saying (6:00) ..Mohanlal acted in Film VALLANAKALUDE NADU with a makeover (normal Moustache) and then acted next in Film DEVASOORAM with same makeover (only change:Twitched his Moustache), but he displayed a completely different characterization in these movies.
@@PardesiReviews yes yes i understood that.... I was only replying to your query... Also there is a Statement going about where he is compared to Marlon Brando What is your take on that please....
Mohanlal sir is a great actor in India. He has played 340 plus movies . Iam a big fan of him Thank you so much ma'am for reacting 'Lalettan' birthday special mashup vedio❤
He is The Best...My Dad use to love his movies, then I started loving it and now when my kids saw Lucifer, they also joined the club...He is a true Legend...May God bless him with good health, success and long life and we wish he keep us entertaining for many more years to come. Love you Lalettan ❤️❤️
Your smile and Mohanlal's comic sense can be grouped as similar, both are healthy too, so you connect, my mum was the die hardest Mohanlal fan ever I met. She used to watch his movies again and say I did not watch the start, then end, then middle portion and finally she would end up watching Spadikam and his Priyadarshan movies a hell number of times.

Hi Mam, great tribute to the living legend, the complete actor, Mohanlal. My favorite top 10: DHRISHYAM KIREEDAM BHARATHAM VARAVELPPU DEVASURAM KILUKKAM CHITHRAM VANAPRASTHAM MANICHITHRATHAZHU UDAYANANU THARAM
Hi Melanie, I really enjoy your work and your reviews make me watch the movies again. I guess I'm a movie buff, who loves to watch movies of every genre and language, but when it comes to Mohanlal, there is a certain aura he brings to screen, which is quite entertaining to watch, where the language is certainly not a barrier because you can certainly understand what is embedded in the movie through his remarkable performance. I have seen several movies in various languages such as Chinese, English, Indian (Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kanada, Hindi and Bengali), Korean, Russian, Spanish, French, German and other European languages. I watch the movies without subtitles because I believe movie is conveyed through the performance, and a classic example is Mohanlal.
I don't know why pardesi only have 28k subscribers such a genuine reaction channel and such an awesome reaction as well.....wish all the best pardesi to reach 1 million subs soon
Dasharatham is a movie that released the same year as Kireedam and had the same director-actor-write trio. It’s a movie not to be missed, it’s a movie way ahead of its times. Chenkol (the second part to kireedam) is also heartbreaking. In fact, the director of all these three said Chenkol was more emotionally draining than kireedam for him as a director.
Hey pardesi....thanks to you for doing mohanlal videoss.... Honestly from my heart.... Lot of them out there just watch bollywood stupidity.... But they do for money I guess.... Sooo good for them.... But u are different from all those goons....... You really is connected to our stories here in malayalam.... Again sincere thanks to you.... Love from KERALA.
@@PardesiReviews yeaaa..... I very well listen to every reviews you do..... And always I knew it, tat it was from your heart... Everything you say... And how much you enjoy those movies....which is very well reflected on your face, everything from deep inside of your observation, I do not have words to express them.... Becuzz they are limited I believe. But still everyone out there who keeps watching you understand them. Thanks for your support for what we believe in is to be very much appreciated, so not to be formal but once again a big hearty THANKS to you.
Hard to pick a favorite! Along with what others have already suggested, I would also add 'Pakshe', which is a heart-touching movie in MohanLal-Shobhana combination. Happy watching :-)
Expect the review of Pavithram staring Mohanlal, Thilakan and Shobana A young man's relationship with his career, fiancee and brother is brought under stress by the birth of an unexpected sister It is a movie which will make you go throught an emotional break down.... Heart breaking climax....IMDb7.9/10
Kilukkam movie is one of the most funny movie of Mohanlal.. I know many people in Kerala, especially expats from Kerala, eventhough they watched this movie 100 times, still watches to get over the stress of life.. laughs out loud while watching.. Minnaram is another one..
The clip he's conducting music is from a movie called Devadoodhan. It's a musical horror mystery. One of his underrated works. My fav movie list of his is endless. I can pick one from every genre lol 💕
Watch Mohanlal sir’s dance from the movie Rajashilpi. It’s on another level. Watch Karnabharam Sanskrit play. Mohanlal sir’s performance will leave you speechless.
The one which he is performing as a musician is 'Devadudhan' must watch that. Its an interesting storyline. For me choosing the best of Mohanlal is a very very difficult task as mohanlal's 98% movies are the bests. Pls watch more mohanlal's movies you will definitely explore the magic of cinema and an actor . ' Chunkinu akathu Lalettan ' ❤ which means he is in our heart like you. ☺ The more you explore Mohanlal the more you love him .. Thank you for your kind reviews.. All the best wishes from Mohanlal fans ..
Dhasharatam and January oru orma are underrated movies.. but the acting in these movies are really awesome❣🤩 actually the list is quite big😅😅 in this lockdown period i have watched around 20 classic movies of lalettan😍
Padamudra, thazhvaram, sadayam, namukku parkaan munthirithoppukal, thoovanathumbikal.. watch all these first and then will get you many more. Many of his films are incredible. Comedy ,serious ,action, sentiments, classic, cult, dance forms anything and everything is safe at his hands. And you may be surprised to know he does 6 different shades of characters in a year when compared to actors down Hollywood who prepares for a character for minimum of 2 years. For him acting just flows. For me no actor is superior than him. I just love him as an actor.
That movie is devadoothan ... It's a must watch ...failed in theatres but now it's one of the personal fav of many people's...(an underated one) There were many cuts from devasuram u may have missed it ... These are some comedy movies... All are must watch( am sure i will miss many while listing) Chitram( my personal fav don't know y..365+ days run) Kilukam Minnaram Thenmavin kombath Chandralekha Pavitram Boeing boeing T.p balagopalan Yodha Nadodikattu, pattana pravesham, akkare akkare akkare(trilogy) Ayal kadha ezhuthukayannu Gandhi Nagar 2nd Street Vandanam Vietnam colony Mazha peyunnu mandalam kottunnu Chotta mumbai Gandharvam
I like your genuine reaction. Your love towards Malayalam cinema is appreciatable Let me ask can you do a video about Mammootty and Mohanlal. Thier acting skills. Amaram is one of the classic Mammootty movie, one of the best mammoottys performance. Please watch and review it. Please watch

Hi Melanie! My absolute favourite Mohanlal movie is Yodha(1994). It is the movie of a village youth from Kerala who is sent to Nepal and finds his life's purpose there.
