so zayn is basically really creative and intellectual and his mv's always have some hidden meaning to them. this mv indicates he is being watched and somebody is listening to his every move whether that be his management or the public eye. i could get really into my whole opinion on the whole thing but that would be really long and involves a ship which is pretty controversial but yeah, to sum it up he is telling us that he is being watched.

This song is about how his every move every step he takes is been watched every action is captured or assumed by other. And because he have to separate from his lover to put the act that they are not together and don't love each other so they leave them alone or his lover alone . So basically this song is about undying love for someone, pr stunt he have to put, he love that person so much if he need to leave them and put a act to protect them then he will do in heart beat. i think the music video is portraying how zayn always felt watched when he was in one direction. its a highly known fact now that their management was extremely strict & controlling and maybe zayn felt that the management was always breathing down their necks, for a lack of a better phrase, even if they weren't necessarily there (like on the road w/ them) they were still watching them closely, which zayn portrays in the music video, but that's just my intpretation :/ also the way the guy that was watching him & wipes his neck, like he's waiting for zayn to slip up & something bad to happen.. i think that is about one direction's biggest unkept secret ifkyk, but i think that's in the video (even though that secret was about two other band members) because zayn probably felt some kind of pressure to make sure it doesn't get out too (as did liam & niall most likely), so zayn at times probably felt as though he had to cover it up which he has done (that one arm touch moment, again iykyk) again that's just my interpretation

it has a deeper meaning beyond the continuation of the Dusk Til Dawn video. if you look into the deeper parts of zayns life as a whole he’s ALWAYS being watched. just like in the Dusk Til Dawn video and in this one he’s perceived as always been watched and always having eyes on him so he can’t really be who he wants to be. this also correlates w the zarry paradigm of how zayn and harry have a much closer relationship than people think. it’s a lot to explain so you would have to uncover that portion yourself. but i love your reaction and i love zayn so much!! not much authenticity in singers these days.💞
