Fyi Mana is from Manananggal a mythical creature that splits its body to hunt for the victim. But I think they use this as reference bec while the other half of the mananggal is flying, the other half remains on the ground. So even if they are soaring high they still are grounded. Hope this helps #CHANGGANG
Mana also refers to legacy/inheritance. You can check out Simon Servida's video on how he put the song together with pablo's directions. Its pretty interesting.
I'm impressed coz you already familiarize all there voices. You don't see me often in the comment but I witnessed from the very first RV you've done. Thank you for supporting SB19👑 and keep safe. God blessed
Mananangal is Pilipino creatures that can fly leaving its half body. This means even if they fly high their feet it's still on the ground. So poetic. Good job #SB19_Pablo #SB19 ❤💙👍👏
I don't know if there are many changes to SB19 or they just got better! strange SB19 I hear now seriously they all evolved! wala na tapos na! sb19 is the best especially pablo WOOOOOOOW! sir wilson thanks for all the support! love from A'TIN
I don’t think Sb19 changed.. they said before that this era is the real them, if you see their last album were mostly dominated by korean producer and it’s even shared with the other group(the melody) thats why A’tin bash showbt before but if u look at their songs now you barely see korean.. only the CEO.. thats why pumatok talaga yung WHAT and MAPA especially MAPA coz its easily connected to our culture u know the music elements and lyrics itself.. idagdag pa yung pinoy mahilig sa ballad..kung baga purely Sb19 tatak tas halos pinoy yung nasa likod ng craft nila..(Kung baga ito yung Ppop) unlike Go Up and Alab though its so uplifting, catchy and nakakainspired talaga but the sound was very idol type of music..since korean yung sound producer, ginawan lang ni Pablo ng lyrics.. pero kahit mas maganda pa yung iba nilang kanta ngayon.. GITZ songs will always stay in my heart.. doon ko sila nakilala at inadmired ng bongga.. though Alab era nako naging A’tin pero I still count myself in Go up kasi doon ko sila nakilala.. hehe.. I miss them in that era.. pero madami pang mangyayari..o mababago pero in a positive way.. always support this group..
That was quick... it's midnight here in the UK and I did watch your reaction video on Bazinga and then watched some other reaction videos. When I refreshed my youtube, I saw that you already had a reaction video for Mana, so here I am watching.
"SB19 - TOPIC" is the original audio. It is SB19's account reflected in RU-vid MUSIC. That's why comments are disabled because YT Music doesn't have that feature.
hi wilson, thanks for another great RV! just to give you some context on this song. mana comes from manananggal, which is a supernatural being in the Philippines. it’s human by day and monster by night. at night, it separates its upper body at the waist from its lower body. it also sprouts wings from its back. then it will fly around at night hunting for food (ie, humans). the metaphorical meaning is that no matter how high they fly, they keep their feet on the ground. so no matter how successful they get, they’ll stay grounded and humble. the part with nitro is about how they can’t hear their bashers anymore because they’re flying so high and the airplanes beside them are too noisy for them to hear the bashing 😁 if you haven’t yet, the netflix series trese has some aswang/manananggal in it for your reference. manananggal wikipedia - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manananggal
Thanks for appreciating Stell's mytical voice. Their logo is holographic bec they say there are different colors depending on how you look at it #CHANGGANG
You got it right Mana is supernatural, Manananggal is a Filipino mythical creature. It splits their body in half, feet on the ground and their upper body would grow wings.
I'm happy that you know the names of the members and their part in this song of SB19 PPOP group, and your grooving. KAWAII ! 😅😁 MORE POWER KUYAAA WILSON. 🔥💕🤙🏻
When you search filipino MANA it means things to be passed to another generation something but in the song they said “MANA-MANANANGGAL MANANANANGGAL MANA” means MANA/NANGGAL OR MANANANGGAL IS A FILIPINO MYTHICAL CREATURE
Thank you for reacting! I translated the lyrics real quick in case you wanna know what it's about. I hope SB19 releases an official lyric/MV for this song though with official English subtitles too! Ayy, isn't it magical? You didn't know me when I was still on the ground Ayy, not even a memory You greeted me, I bet 50 (pesos) on it Ayy, now that I'm in the clouds You insist that I changed Don't you miss me, oh yeah Nah, I'd rather half my body go missin' oh yeah Why is it like this? I don't understand what you're saying Is the world unfair? If so, here, I'll change it It's not a problem for me If you still can't see The blessings I have That you can never deny Manananggal*, manananggal, manananggal, mana Heaven and earth will come as one, just believe Even though my gifts are not yet valued Manananggal, manananggal, manananggal, brrah! Mana Mana Huh? I can't hear what you say anymore You can't even reach me where I am right now This airplane next to me is also very loud I'll go turbo, turning on the nitro Zooming far away, I won't stop I'll be floating here 'cause I'm grounded, chillin' Whatcha callin' punks? Yeah we not dead Is there nothing new? Something I don't know about myself Didn't you learn? You might need a miracle It's not a problem for me If you still can't see The blessings I have That you can never deny Manananggal, manananggal, manananggal, mana Heaven and earth will come as one, just believe Even though my gifts are not yet valued Manananggal, manananggal, manananggal, brrah! Mana Mana Am I an aswang**, is that why you fear me? Just shut your mouth Don't test my patience Go, just go, just go, just don't sleep on me Am I an aswang, is that why you fear me? Just shut your mouth Don't test my patience Go, just go, just go Yeah Manananggal, manananggal, manananggal, mana Heaven and earth will come as one, just believe Even though my gifts are not yet valued Manananggal, don't sleep on me, or else... brrah! Mana Mana Mana *As others have already explained, the manananggal is a mythical creature that splits in half at the waist. It's classified as an aswang. **An aswang is a broad range of mythical creatures that are known to eat humans, fetuses, or human innards. EDIT: Official lyrics just came out and I had to change some things. It makes much more sense now!
@Dean Nidea wow!! Kudos! Your translation is pretty spot on.. love it❤️ hope you will do more of these not just for sb19 but also for other opm songs that deserve to be heard and known❤️❤️ i really applaud you coz ive seen a song of sb19 in youtube translated in english but it's awkward somehow 🤗
@@PabLuna5714 thank you! and i feel you haha. i'd be happy to provide translations for other songs, but i don't really know how to get them out there. i tried to share a translation of pablo and josue's determinado once but it didn't get much attention and probably didn't reach those who actually needed them. but in the meantime i'll lurk around youtube and provide translations in the comments if needed.
Pablo is the songwriter, both lyrics and melody, of all of the songs in this EP… production by Pablo n S Servida… this album feels like your riding a rollercoaster!!
Not sure how SB19 will conceptualize the MV or lyric video but I know Justin will surprise us. Knowing how Pablo loves wordplay I feel mana means inheritance and manananggal which is a supernatural female monster whose body splits in half where the bottom part of the body stays on the ground while top part has hiddem bat wings. The top part flys off at night to hunt while bottom part lies hidden in its home. These monsters eat unborn children from pregnant women. The lyrics seem to be hinting on people who get successful but dont know where they come from. Hence the manananggal tag. Be successful and fly high but be grounded never forgetting your roots. Theres also a verse where they say aswangs (local version of vampires) arent as scary as people who always talk smack about you. So this song could be saying not to let success get into your head. The tone gives me Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody operatic vibes mixed with Billie Eillish.
Mana means heir Manananggal is a mythical creature from the philippines (a body with wings separated from the half of the lower part of the body), a metaphor, though they soaring high, their feet is still grounded
Still the same comment from me! Your reaction are so on point and you, as an international reactor, you got the message right even though you don't understand the lyrics. So so amazing Wilson! 👏
On the RV marathon. 😂 Pablo wrote everything so all the songs are interconnected in one way or another. Mana is for manananggal and also for legacy - Josh’s line in Bazinga. They’re currently rehearsing the choreography for this. Can’t wait for the concert!
Mana (pamana) means inheritance and since SB19 loves wordplay thus manananggal (ph mythical creature able to cut their body in half) and everything fits well with the message of the song: they have this inheritance (mana/pamana) or gift (biyaya) that was not acknowledged (or even dismissed) by others and now they are saying that their inheritance brought them success while being grounded (manananggal's upper half flies while the lower half stays on the ground)
You can't find its original song or mv because its not released yet... they just released its official audio but the official mv is yet to come. ATIN is also waiting for its official release hoping after this blizz they made in twitter after their Kick off concert. (i guess)
"Manananggal, manananggal, manananggal, mana" Mana = power, heritage, inheritance Manananggal = Ancient monster/mythical creature in the Philippines. It came from the tagalog word 'tanggal' which means 'remove' or 'separate' So Manananggal mana means, stopping someone or removing the power of someone to be able to do things.
Never in the Philippines use this mystical creatures (MANANANGGAL-ASWANG) in a song that relate to personal and social lives. Pablo is genius #SB19MANA @SB19Officials
'MANA' means MANANANGGAL. It is an old Filipino mythical creature that separates from their lower part of body and their fangs and wings give it a vampire-like appearance. Aside from that, the song itself is about reaching high but still keeping grounded.
MANA- comes from the word MANANANGGAL. A Filipino mythical creature that can separate its body. The upper part flies while the waist down stays on the ground. They're basically saying that no matter what achieve, no matter how high they are, they stayed and will stay grounded. Down-to-earth in other words. The song is kinda difficult to translate but that's the main point of the song. 😊😊😊
They are all mixing voice that's why you don't hear josh and jastine voice.. but if you focus hearing. You can hear their voice. John Paulo Nase or known as PABLO is the one who compose/lyricist he also produce with the help of Mr. Servida
I stopped by here bcs of the song title..lol😆 It was not the type of music I usually listen to, but this was cool. (You know the group I love, right? ;D and I also listen to the original songs they covered..) As I prefer seeing the surprised face, I wanted you to react to Pitta's (Kang HyungHo of Forestella) the Phantom of the Opera in MBN first if you are attempt to see his solo stage..but he recently released his new song Dandelion he wrote himself. So I don't know how to say it..it will surprise you in different way. But not that shocking like the Phantom of the Opera..you feel I'm in chaos, right? Yes indeed..anyway, give a try to listen to Dandelion by Pitta.
