REACTION | STROMAE - Papaoutai - Absolutely brilliant song that hit your feels! 

Hello from south France Didymalgia ☺️ This song is an inside view through a child's eyes on the lack created by a father's absence. Stromaë never knew as a child his father had died. In 1991, the latter had left his wife and child, when Stromaë was barely six years old, to go to Kigali, in Rwanda, his origin country, and set up his architectural firm. In 1994 the military push broke out in Rwanda, which saw the genocide of the Tutsis by the Hutus. His father will not escape it. Stromaë was only nine years old. His family preferred to hide the truth from him and remained very evasive when he asked questions about the reasons for his father's absence. So he didn't know it until he was twelve. Then, because he couldn't stand it any longer, he finally resolved to ask his mother the question frankly, who confessed the truth to him. I suggest to react to "L'enfer"; it's from his last album. I love French movies and chansons, every year I experience the first snow through Salvatore Adamo's song "Tombe la neige". This relatively new song completely enchanted me, especially the Maitre Gims's voice, one of the most beautiful male voices I have ever heard, song is "Est-ce que tu m'aimes?" I hate to say Stromae sings in French. However he is Belgian. Not French :-) I'm proud of that, yes. hahaha ... Stromae is MaeStro but the cyllables are switched. So you can say stromay. And Papaoutai is pronounced as the vowel in bed. :-)
