The audience loved Angelina for letting them sing with her. It is not every day, that you can sing with the national treasure of your country (no joke). Today she is 15 years old and a seasoned artist, but she is still friendly and humble, she knows how to communicate with people and is very charitable. Since 2014, sources told, she raised more than 30 million USD, for environmental causes and child support. No small dead, for someone her age.

Alan always wears a mask, as he said, to keep the focus on the music and not him. Also to show unity, that we are all alike. This was the first time I have seen a reaction video of yours, but then I only watch Angelina reaction videos. I'm 67 and I started following her about a year after she won Norway's Got Talent, just after turning 8 years old. In my opinion, she is the best complete artist I have seen. She sounds way beyond her years in every song she sings, and she does (or at least did before signing with Republic Records last year at 14) all the arrangements of her covers and originals. She has performed with a band several times, and they affectionately refer to her as "The Boss", because she knows exactly what she wants, and how she wants it done. I enjoyed your reaction and look forward to you hopefully doing more of this young prodigy. Might I suggest a demo she did at age 10 for Baby Fuzz (aka Brandon Lowry), called "I'm Still Holding Out For You". Many consider this her best work, and a lot feel it could have been a #1 hit for her, had it been released. The story of her bare feet is one of unbelievable commitment and caring. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling in the middle east (her grandmother is Iranian), and she came across a young girl close to her age who was working in the street offering to weigh people with a bathroom scale for money. She had no shoes on her feet and her feet were cracked and in pretty bad shape. They talked for a while and then the little girl mentioned how nice she thought Angelina's shoes were. Angelina asked her if she had any shoes and she said no, so Angelina gave her the shoes off her feet. Angelina asked her what her dreams were and the little girl said she wanted to be a doctor. Angelina told the little girl that she wanted to be a star and sing for the world. The little girl told Angelina she would pray for her every day and asked Angelina to not forget about her. Angelina made a promise at that time that any time she sang in public she would sing barefoot to remember this little girl and bring awareness to the suffering of children around the world. To this day, over 9 years later, she has stayed true to that commitment. She remains a very grounded and humble young lady She has spent the past 9 years pouring out her soul and her talent to help people who are not as fortunate as her. She donated much, if not most of her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to children's charities and has performed in benefit concerts across the globe in support of disadvantaged children and other social causes (raising over 20 million Euros).

I love Angelina Jordan. We love Alan Walker on our walk. He’s a British citizen and I know reasons is a noodle citizenship. He just paid no reason but he speaks British styles English and then speaks for languages. English is not a first language spoken in his two, but it was, she had no region first, but the yeah, she speaks four languages and plays five minutes ill probably.

Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman, who has chosen to keep his life private. Angelina started singing around 18 months of age after listening to Whitney Houston on RU-vid. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz. Mery Zamani is Iranian and was considered a prodigy as an artist and poet and married a Japanese man who passed away in 2019. Angelina speaks Norwegian, Farsi, English, Japanese and Swedish. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where she received vocal training starting around age 4. Angelina plays the piano, violin, guitar and flute and also paints. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage. Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. Angelina at age 6 and 7 did record a few songs in a recording studio, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 6 or 7 year old. Angelina is blessed with a deep voice with a beautiful rich tone and has always made her sound much older than her age. Many compare her voice to that of Amy Winehouse. Her voice is highly emotional which is very rare for a young girl and some people can’t accept that such a soulful voice can come from someone who has not had enough life experience. One vocal coach on RU-vid recently said, “If you have a song and want to have more emotion added to that song, have Angelina sing it.” At age 8, (please refer to replies by erik to a comment I made on JHTreacts video on 6/7/21 who provides proof Angelina had already turned 8) Angelina’s audition on NGT was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. The next performance on NGT was her cover of Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. Angelina was sick when she sang these songs Sha had a sore throat a cold and a 102 fever yet she insisted to go sing since Allen walker had personally asked her to come to the concert and sing for him he had even said she didn't have to sing but she was going on!! 10 years old and still the show must go on!!

This performance took place in December 2016, Alan Walker reinvented his EDM music - calling it restrung - Angelina was an obvious choice to sing for him. Shortly after this concert Angelina made a demo recording of a song that had been sent to her to try - the song was never released, many say it's one of her very best - at just 10 years old Angelina was a well seasoned artist! She was asked to do this benefit concert by Alan Walker when she was 10 years old. There is a tremendous crowd there and it is being live-streamed to 100s of thousands around the world. Alan is popular with the college crowd and they are out in full force; drinking beer and having a great time. He is so popular with everyone that the crowd knows the words to all of his songs and as the orchestra builds to a crescendo, a 10-year-old child is lit up on stage. She has to be shaking in her boots - except that, she has no boots (or shoes for that matter). So, here we come to one of the most astounding aspects of Angelina Jordan: In interviews, she is sometimes asked about being nervous on stage and she often responds with something along these lines (paraphrasing here) "When I am on stage I feel like I enter an endless world of love and joy. It is so amazing. I don't even want to leave the stage when I'm done singing." IMO, she enters some altered state when she performs. What she describes is an actual religious experience which the Buddhists call Nirvana, the Hindus call it Samadi, the Christians call Heaven, and the New Age calls Cosmic Consciousness. This is not terribly surprising - given her extraordinary talents, beginning at such a young age, leaves me believing that she was someone with lots of talent before. Maybe famous - maybe not. To put it bluntly, I believe that she is a very highly evolved individual. This would explain a lot: her altruism, her abilities with singing and arranging, her early development, etc.
