What I think is great is that the Vikings actions are completely opposite than what the English king is saying about them.

I am barely through this trailer and i just want to say this is one of the first reaction trailers i have seen where the people actually play assassins creed AND, on your brothers part, know some of the history like who king alfred is. Thank yall for making me not hate this video. Nice work 👊🏻

So the creative director of the game confirmed that is not Odin and that your character that you play as has a different view of things around him He saw a man in a robe and believed it was Odin watching over them The director didn't say who the man in the robe was but if you played the Atlantis DLC for Odyssey you could get an idea of who he is

So, there was a rumor where you can either play male or female. What I'm wondering is, will it be like Odyssey where you can choose who to play as or will it be like Mass Effect 1-3, change the gender of the character? Cause I've heard people didn't like how you had to choose between Alexios or Kassandra, since it was revealed that Kassandra is the canon main character. Also, since it's revealed that it's coming out for both current and next gen consoles, I really hope Ubisoft doesn't pull a NetherRealm Studios, cause they did that with Mortal Kombat X, since it was supposed to come out for last and current gen consoles.

One of the most iconic Ubisoft Games is the Assassins Creed franchise and Ubisoft themselves said they love the Vikings. YOU JUST KNOW THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE BADASS!!!!!

After watching the trailer I honestly thought Valhalla was going to be based off of the History channels "Viking" drama because of how similar "Eivor" looks like "Ragnar Lothbrok" and Eivor companion looks a lot like "Rollo" LOL! Not sure if anyone else did to...

Nearly every reaction to this I see: "Is that Ragnar?" I'm thinking... no. BUT, seeing as the king is apparently Alfred (as per the signature - good spot by the way, props - I'm going to assume that means Alfred the Great), it COULD be Ragnar's son Ivar the Boneless - against whose invasion, Alfred fought. Of course, the small problem with that, is that Alfred was supposedly a peaceful scholar, not: "Godless barbarians, let's go to war and kill them all, it's the only language they know" - but, uh... dramatic license? And he did actually fight against Ivar - despite being the king of Wessex, while it was Mercia, that was being invaded - so he must not have been a complete pacifist =)
