REACTION TO BAND-MAID "ALONE" 

Two things to note from this track ....this was the first song written by Kanami that was accepted by their label....and secondly....the band have a certain sense of humour in releasing 'Alone' on Valentines Day ;)

Very important Band-Maid song! It was the first song from Kanami that was released from their label at this time. The songs before were ALL from some writers from that label. After that almost every song was written mainly by Kanami. Akane and MISA were always a part of it too, because they created their parts with Kanami together so it fits! The rest is history after that you can ALWAYS clearly hear the Band-Maid recipe that makes them the band they are today. The most versatile, most creative and also in my book BEST band today :) Greetings from Germany

Akane is a beast, I feel exhausted watching her play. I only discovered Band-Maid at the end of last year, but I'm happy I did. They always give 500% to their performance and rock legend Jimmy Page being impressed by Akane's drumming means she's doing something right :)

Thrill put them on the map, Alone got them to their destination. Band Maid since 2013, making rock and roll great again ! P.S. Her name is Tono, Kanami Tono. And she eats guitar solos for breakfast !

In February 2016, two and a half years after the formation of BAND-MAID, they wrote and composed the song for the first time. Until then, Kanami continued to write songs, suggested many times, but wasn't allowed to release. After this song, most of the songs became their own songs. It is a commemorative song that Kanami's composition is recognized and blooms.

Once they were left "Alone" by their record / management companies to create what they wanted, well... look what they did. Alone! BAND-MAID is an important influence and contributor to the music industry with a continuous, growing worldwide fanbase. But to me, they are just the best sounding, best writers of hard rock music, and the most fun, joyous group of musicians to come along since the Beatles.

This song has hooks on hooks! There's always something in a few seconds that grabs you! It keeps you interested in the song they whole way through.

Alone is a fantastic song. This was the first song I heard where Akane REALLY stood out to me. This was probably the 3rd or 4th song I heard by BAND-MAID. The drums were just so upfront in the mix and Akane has some really cool fills and what I always call off beat feeling drums (I mean that in a good way). She even adds the little bit of tasteful double kicks at the end. Kanamis solo is fantastic as well, I believe there was a bit of sweep picking at the end of the solo. Very cool stuff.

One of my fav Akane tracks (one of my fav Band-Maid tracks, too). Akane's ever changing drum patterns and fills. Misa's strolling bass lines, the HARMONIES (Miiiiikuuuuu!), Saiki's smoky lower register lead, and Kanami's gorgoues fire cracker solo. Just EPIC! Thanks THISSSSSS! 🕊

This song is from the early days, but I think it's packed with the charm of Band Maid.

Hey, I love Akane as much as you and the next guy, but I think the soul of this song is really the bass. MISA really sets the mood in this song. That's not taking away anything else from the rest of the band though.

If you like ALONE, I recommend Bubble YOLO and Glory. They are funky and cool rock songs. If you want to see another side of them, what about Wonderland? It's a jazzy power ballad with great Saiki vocals and fascinating drum・bass・guitar・chorus.

Sempre belle le tue reazioni....non sono un musicista ma trovo le canzoni delle band maid strutturate in maniera diversa dalle altre band ..forse è solo una mia sensazione...ma questo uso del basso quasi predominante la batteria incredibile...i continui cambi di kanami...boh...aspetto altre reazioni maid...
