Seriously. I figured since they showed him watching he would step in again. It's so good that he doesn't though. I thought it was because he wanted Mark to learn from his stupid decision. After looking into it more and seeing how powerful Battle Beast is in the comics it makes way more sense. Lmao
I love how it breaks stereotypes of the protagonist always get Ex-Machina. Even Mark doesn't always get plot armor every time. But he is *Invincible theme card*
“You cant even stop these kind of threats?” My guy, Battle Beast eats Viltrumites for breakfast without any milk and ur asking some teens to beat him with the power of friendship?
As someone who's never read the comics, It's nice to see people's dumbfounded reactions to what's going on in a superhero show that subverts conventions of the genre.
Honestly, we don't know that for sure. Omniman probably never even heard of the guy. But yeah, Omniman was right to not interfere, he would've ensured everyone's demise, including his own
Well I mean omniman presented as a superman like “hero” as in the strongest there is But battle beast is introduced as a for hire thug I mean that’s like if black mask hired dark side to beat up red hood
@@LordSkullkid nah Thragg literally used the cut Battle Beast made on himself to pull out his organs. I'd say Battle Beast would have won if both of em were healthy.
That is what made his appearance so cool. Most people assumed he's just a random hired goon. In reality he's one of the most powerful fighters in the galaxy. No one expected it.
The fact that Michael Dorn voices Battle Beast automatically made him one of my favorite characters in the show. "There is no honor in killing insects." - Spoken like a true Klingon.
@@theextremeanimator4721 Yes, Lieutenant Commander Worf from Star Trek The Next Generation and Star Trek Deep Space Nine. One of the most popular characters in Trek.
To be fair the show and comics love to kill off people at a moments notice. That and getting your head sandwiched between two rocks usually guarantees death
I mean after hoping that Immortal could be resuscitated because his headless body was still fighting (during the earlier episodes) but is actually completely dead, I would also assume that everyone would die in this scenario as well.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 He came for free when he heard there was a worthy combatant. Battle beast travels the cosmo looking for the greatest battles in history
damn, Battle beast was in a different league than everyone else in the room. Machine head got lucky with him. If Battle beast wasn't there the guardians would have one easily.
In the show, my favorite lines are,”This battle is beneath me. There is no honor in killing insects.” And “Killing you is an act of mercy.” Battle beast is truly one of hell of a character.
Imagine being one of the STRONGEST beings in the whole galaxy and suddenly a guy with an autotune voice calls you and tells you there *totally* are some really strong people for you to fight in a backwards, middle-of-nowhere planet, and your first reaction is "sounds legit dude, beam me up!"...
@@anatoldenevers237 Lol no he wouldn’t. BB eats Viltrumites for breakfast and Omni-Man wouldn’t even be a mouthful. The dude fought Thragg, the strongest Viltrumite in the empire, and a guy who regularly beat Omni-Man in fights, for DAYS. And BB only lost the fight because he disemboweled himself beforehand to give Thragg equal footing. BB is like the Image equivalent of Darkseid.
He probably didn't even care about the money, he could get as much money as he wanted just from beating the shit out of people. He probably was just hoping for a good fight because of how powerful he is
Everyone talks about how Battle Beast is basically "Thanos if he showed up during Iron Man 1", but Black Samson is the one who made the Endgame Iron Man sacrifice; dropped the armor and ran into a death sentence basically
Tony stark snapped half the universe back to life and dusted literally the entire enemy forces during his sacrifice. Black Samson’s sacrifice quite literally amounted to absolutely nothing but crunching noises for battle beast to enjoy.
@@TheKannibalistic oh sorry lol I made a mistake I’ve literally watched that movie 5+ times now. Anyways by point still stands. Iron man dusted the entire enemies forces while black Samson just god fuckin clubbed lmao.
Battle Beast is one of the strongest characters in the entire series, but the way he's introduced as though he's "just some henchman" only for you to quickly realise he's so strong he can body the whole team like its nothing.... Awesome. It's like the villains team would be a bunch of B-Tier villains that are definitely dangerous but not crazy powerful, like Green Goblin or Electro, and then just randomly Doctor Doom is with them. Like he doesn't even need the rest of the team he could beat the heroes on his own.
"Yeah murder all of them, bro, honestly" "Why! What is wrong with you?!" "They're not that good" "Don't mean they gotta die!" "Yeah, it actually does" Love it
I don't anything about Battle Beast, but he has become in my favorite character in the show. Edit: I rewatched this episode again and I change my mind. Machine Head is my villain in the show. His auto-tune voice is poetry.
I like how they said Ommiman Help Mark! Dont knowing Battle Beast eats Viltrumites for breakfast I dont read the comics but my Brother who reads them fucking told me that shit and I believe him
"Ya'll can't even stop *these* kinds of threats, like what ya'll gonna do?" Oh, if only they knew how powerful Battle Beast is in comparison to Omni man
Everyone: Omni-Man gonna come save and whoop his ass. Me: Battle Beast could literally tank or even kill Omni-Man at this point as he was able to fight Thragg for 3 days straight
Everyone is roasting the guardians in the reactions, but the reality of the situation is the originals would've done no better. Omni man himself would suffer the same fate as invincible. He is NO match for battle beast
Once you realize how powerful he is, your shocked again by how much he was holding back because he didn't kill anyone. But I wouldn't fault him for thinking Monster Girl and black Sampson were dead lol
They don't realize that even if omni man had intervened it wouldn't have mattered. Battle Beast is almost as strong as the most powerful viltrumite in the universe and omni man is far from that. EDIT: I also think there is a chance that Omni man wanted Mark to die, he had to of known that there's no way he would have agreed to conquer earth with him
When Battle Beast is going to finish Mark everyone expects Omniman to step in and then the show acts like Black Samson is gonna save him instead, making the shock of Battlebeasts finishing blow all the more shocking.
Probably my favorite scene in the entire season. Haven't read the comics so it totally caught me off guard to see what initially looked like a random henchman who'd just get his ass easily whooped actually be the one easily whooping everyone's ass. lol
At 4:24 right after he said " THE AWESOMENESS OF BATTLE BEAST" an ad came on my phone advertising for and im not making this up and for "Old spice" complete with theme song and every thing BA BA BA BA BUH POWERRRRRRRR!!!!
Funny how some people don't know battle beast is as strong arguable even stronger than omni man if you don't believe me compare the fight of both of them against thragg
My two favorite parts are people seeing battle beast maze Mark's stomach to oblivion and black people's reaction to seeing Black Samson being so badly injured
I loved watching people react to this who either had no idea what they signed up for or were too weak to handle the violence. I soaked up all their horror and disgust to season my food later......
This battle really set up watchers for the rest of the season. This show does such a good job at making it seem like you know what's gonna happen (assuming Omni-Man will intervene when needed, Invincible will get his power-up, the team will turn things around) because we've seen instances like it within other shows. But then it throws us for a loop by transitioning from a light-hearted hero's struggle to the harsh reality that is superhero work in this world. It reminds you, in a big way, that this show is not afraid of dunking you into the deep end when you're just riding the surface.
pretty sure battle beast holds himself when fighting thraag, that one dude saying “you can’t handle these kind of threats?” needs to look into how strong battle beast actually is
1:48 "Omni-Man what are you doing?!" Yeah uh SPOILER ALERT for anyone who hasn't read the comments, but that there is Battle Beast, and he would absolutely MOP Omni-Man one sidedly. He went toe to toe with Thragg WAY longer than Omni-Man could.
I like how everyone who didn't know who he was thought he was a typical henchman and then everyone was like "who's this guy?!?" Lol I like how the show is anti-trope too, it seems like Samson was supposed to save Invincible there for a second but no, his weapon failed. 😂
Justice Invincible League would be a dope live action movie 😂 Ben affleck - Omni-man Ezra miller - Invincible Gal gadot - Debbie Ray fisher - Allen Jason mamoa - Battle beast Henry cavill - General thragg
