This is one of the bands that made the history of the Polish rock. Their leader Romuald Lipko who composed most, if not all, of their songs is, unfortunately, already dead. I strongly suggest that you listen to "Jolka, Jolka", "Czas ołowiu", "Cisza jak ta", "Martwe morze" and "Za ostatni grosz". I am sure you'll enjoy. English subtitles are a must as lyrics are an essential part of what they sang.

Zawsze kiedy ich słucham mam gęsią skórke, Dziekuje za zainteresowanie....

The funny thing is they were playing this in DDR once, in German (as "Ich bin Neu Geboren). Cugowski couldn't speak a word in German, so he just wrote the translated lyrics in a phonetic way and held the writing in his hand as he sung. Later some guy came to him and asked: "Hey, how is it possible for you to sing with such a perfect Berliner accent?" :D

So... That's the special song. Music that's of course progressive rock. BUT! Lyric visibly refers to an extraordinary time in Polish culture called "Young Poland" (Młoda Polska): Times full of symbolism and experiments with a lot of "special" substations. On one hand - artists tried to come back to the roots of culture and build something new on this but on the other - the omnipresent decadence dominated the background.
