Not surprised. they are just our mid class supermarket for our groceries shopping. They finished up their luck and will fight for relegation next season after De zerbi leave
@@dorualex3092 lol Chelski fan thinks a good purple patch is good enough to even remotely challenge City. You are up there with Gooners except they are actually good and your teams form is temporary next season back to cursing players.
Just imagine? they said 'scattergun signings', Chelsea haven't a clue, Poch needs to go etc, etc, Now they wake up for a moment and show surprise that a team of strangers, a team of kids are starting to mature and they get paid for that 🤣
@@altaccount7532 How can it be a successful season if you were 13th at one point and now you're sixth? That sounds disappointing for the Chelsea brand.
@@TT-fq7pl Sometimes you have to go backwards to move forward. Given up short term sucess under RA to try for long term sucess under the Bholey consortium. Finishing 6th after all that upheavel/new squad of unexperienced players/injury list is definately a plus for this season
Shaka is a clown. We have been good for the last 2 months. That Arsenal game was a one off because it was a derby. We were on a run before they clapped us.
@@TT-fq7pl real fans only wanted improvement this season. One of the youngest but most injury riddled squad in the league. Still getting Europa league is a huge step in the right direction.
Stevie said Chelsea had nothing to lose that is why they are winning. But they have the most points from games apart from Man City and Arsenal. Wow nothing to lose and could make 5th right?
Craid is such an awful pundit. Can never give Chelsea or their players any credit. Palmer was second in goals and 1st in goal involvements at 21 years old and all he can say is he wouldn’t get these numbers at man city. Jog on Craig.
And you think he would? Not a chance. He never would have got the oportunity. You cant score 20+ goals in the 10 games or so he would have been given at city
@@dave4728The same way KDB was NEVER going to get the numbers he gets at City at Chelsea playing 5 games a season. This is normal for young players coming through. Just jog off, you have no point
@@Lexxydee Why the hate? As much as I'm not a fan of Burley, he's right. He'd have struggled to get game time at city no matter how good he is, therefore he wouldn't have got the goals he has. I don't see how anyone can argue against that statement. Or are you just arguing for the sake of arguing?
@@dave4728 Should that be the focus? He’s shown he’s better than ALL Man City players and would prolly be the Premier League Player of the Season. If Man City knew what quality he had through and through, would they have let him go? How can you have Grealish and Doku in a team and there will be no space for Palmer? Also, I said KDB would never have had the game time and numbers he’s having at City at Chelsea no matter how good he’s become. How can you argue against that? Or do you want to argue for the sake of it? Does it reduce who KDB is today being a Chelsea reject? Good you understand now
@@Lexxydee "Should that be the focus"? Of course it should. That was the argument Burley was making, and that was what I was pointing out to OP. "If man city knew what qualities he had through and through, would they have let him go?" I have no idea, but you cant keep someone who wants to go and that has nothing to do with the point I made. "How can you have Grealish and Doku in a team and there will be no space for Palmer?". Again, I've no idea, but again not a point I've made so I don't know why you bring it up? "Also, I said KDB would never have had the game time and numbers he’s having at City at Chelsea no matter how good he’s become. How can you argue against that?" I didn't, I never once mentioned KDB. "Does it reduce who KDB is today being a Chelsea reject?" Yet again something I've not commented on so why do you bring it up? "Good you understand now" No actually I don't. You keep arguing points that, A I've never mentioned and B you have no idea what my stance is on these subjects so how can you argue against something you don't know my opinion on. I'll rephrase my original point to OP in such a way that even YOU might understand. Cole Palmer would not have scored as many goal for City this season because he wouldnt have got as many games for them as he did for Chelsea. Ok got it, thats all I'm trying to say. No hidden agendas on who is better or worse than any other player or why city let him go, got it? edited for spelling
The salt is so evident here😅 I'll never forget just a few years ago when we won the CL they were flabbergasted. Nothing has changed before and since then. Palmer could have 70 goals and they'll find some reason on how it's a fluke.
Chelsea with a strong finish to the season. All those who demanded Poch be sacked are left exposed as wankers they are. If it wasn't for Cole, they wouldn't be close to 6th now tho. Poch is confirming he's world class manager. I'm sure he won't leave for Atletico de Madrid this summer
Man City didn't let Palmer go. He decided to leave for a chance to play in the XI. Pep confirmed this months ago. How long will we keep hearing the same thing?
We let him go because otherwise he would be in contract jail and it's not like we needed money he wanted to leave because he isn't good enough to start and there are levels between Chelsea and City we are going to win double followed by treble and Chelsea won nothing last season will win nothing again this season. So stop the cap.
@@pratikroy227 palmer is for the future you sold a great player he is better than foden and plays for struggling chelsea. stop hating you lost a superstar
There is an exclusive interview where he says he wanted to go on loan and come back to city. But city and pep wanted him to stay or leave on permanent transfer as they wanted to make money out of him. Simple. Donno why it’s hard for people to understand that pep has made mistake and accept it
fair comment. not going to knock pep or city but cole palmer deserves a lot of credit for what he achieved at chelsea. he went from probably one of the greatest EPL teams of all time to join a bunch of disjointed unproven youngsters. and he managed to produce tangible results in his first season. when players like haaland, foden, mahrez etc play for city they have a 'supporting cast' of superstars behind them, it is natural they have great platform to shine. but cole palmer went the other way around. moreover if you compare what palmer has produced on the field in the league compared to grealish moving TO city instead of FROM, you realize how efficient he has been.
@@fireproximity4225 I missed it with all the incoherent ramblings from Burley and Hislop with Dan .. I much prefer Kay as the presenter, she holds the pundits more in check
I hear you but surely Spurs will not loose to a horrible Shefield United - deservedly the worst team in the league. Even Burnley or Nottingham Forrest playing at home vs Spurs would've given us a slight possibility of hope for 5th. But Sheffield? No way jose 😂
the same idiots who said they'd leave Cole Palmer behind, only a few weeks ago, in favour of Bowen, Maddison and Saka... now say he should definitely go
I am a United fan. It is really nice how Chelsea have come up. The Arsenal game was a one off. Chelsea can be Top 4 next season. Poch is a good coach. Not a joker like Ten Hag who does not have a clue and cannot adjust his playing style depending on the results.
As a Chelsea fan I will tell you that ten hag is truly good. Injuries is what destroyed Chelsea and united this season. Chelsea and united will be back and Arsenal and Liverpool will struggle. Relax
No recruitment needed!! Thats what has caused us so much trouble. Get rid of the hangers on like Keep etc and see how the kids do next year. Oh and keep Trev and galladog and get rid of Mr Ego James!!!
I hope Palmer doesn't make the Euro's squad. I want him to be angry about it next season and prove Southgate wrong. Good luck to him though if he makes the squad. He deserves a spot.
With such performances it's now clear that the Premier League will likely have a new winner next season, and that is Chelsea. Great run of games to conclude the season. Now 4/4
Only City, Liverpool and Arsenal have won more points than Chelsea in the league in 2024! The scoreline of the Arsenal game wasn't indicative pf the improving form instead Poch should've been blamed for that big loss. He rested both Chalobah and Thiago Silva our best centreback pairing so far this season and once again shoehorned the out of form and injured Enzo into the team. Besides Palmer didn't also play in that game because of illness. If we had anything close to the lineup we had yesterday it would've been a much closer game.
Nobody say why Poch didn't use inverted LB before? It looks like the squad is no longer rubbish, just needs a good manager with proper tactics, and Poch wasted too much time. Also if Palmer is not playing there is 90% chance Chelsea wouldn't score at all.
I don't understand this clamour for Osimhen. He is going to cost north of £100m and he's unproven in the Premier League. Just cause he can do it in Italy doesn't mean anything, I mean Lakaku does well in Italy. We can probably get Ivan Toney for £40 to 50m. If we can keep Nkunku fit next season then having Toney, Jackson and Nkunku as our 3 striking choices sounds good....
We the Chelsea fans love Cole Palmer just the way he is and that includes the fact that we love his celebration so tell this olld man to stop the emotional bullying and mind games
Chelsea recently perform well w o enzo, y it really happen? Ps palmer +caicedo +gallagher r dominant over the midfield w performing effectiveness and quality
It’s funny how these lots change so quickly 😂all of these lot didn’t believe in poch or Chelsea now they see change and all wanna praise Chelsea , just as bad as fans
when arteta first started, everyone was calling for his head. Now, look at him and arsenal. Could the same be in the books for Chelsea? As a neutral, I hope so
We should and could have won 1-5 yesterday if it wasnt for N Jackson missing sitters as usual. As soon as the season ends Todd needs to get on a plane to Napoli with a briefcase carrying the money to pay Osimhen release clause. I have had it with Nico Jackson. He can play really good as a left winger as long as he stays far away from the goal area.
@@Wessi10Barca Nico is a really good winger but somebody lied to him and told him he is a striker. That person who lied to him deserves 25 years in prison with no chance of parole.
@Samplefive1966 Your narrative is so lazy... Pochettino changed the entire system after Enzo's injury. Pochettino replaced Enzo with an extra winger (Madueke), which moved Palmer to #10, and put Gallagher back into midfield... The system has changed to a more attacking one... Even when Enzo is fit, it would be one of Enzo or Gallagher in this system, rather than Enzo and Gallagher together.
@backupdancer3720 really. Gallagher has replaced Enzo at the pivot. Palmer moved to 10. But since Gallagher can join attack, Cucurella becomes inverts into the Center. It is a whole system change. This may not be possible if Enzo comes back.
I come here just to see their reaction whenever we win 😅😊. These guys hate Chelsea for no reason whatsoever. Shaka saying- little run of form😅 salty, second half of the season we have played really well and the points table shows it clearly. Certainly finishing high over Man Utd😅😅😅.
Chelsea has been solid in their last couple of games .. But let's not pretend their fans won't say they'll definitely be in the title race next season 😂
