The Deliveroo rider definitely didn't know who Derek is. I definitely don't condoning how far the confrontation went, but some people don't like to be told that their in the wrong. A lot of cyclists, not only delivery riders, cycle on busy pavements, streets, and even go through red lights, with no consideration for pedestrians. Derek most likely spoke in a tone that the guy didn't like and then it got out of hand.
@@reynold_tv you are making a huge number of assumtions to avoid saying nobody has the right to grab you and tell you where you can or cannot ride your bike and then headbutt you. thats assualt. being big and famous does not make it right. imagine if i told derek to get off his bike, what do you think he would say?
Both men are in the wrong. It was unsafe for the Deliveroo rider to be riding through there. Derek wasn't wrong in telling the guy to dismount, but his actions after were wrong. I suspect that Derek spoke to the guy in a way that upset him, hence the reason it escalated. As human beings, we have to learn how to communicate with each other in a respectful manner. This had to be the conclusion from the police who arrived, and decided not to take things further.
My theory is that the beef with the Deliveroo guy was all scripted to bring attention and eyes on the fight with Joe Joyce. On the week of the fight spoke about how when he's gone and other personalities like himself are gone, who is going to keep the public entertained. Derek said that personality put butt's in seat. Also, isn't it kind of strange that no one else filmed the incident and the Deliveroo guy isn't going around doing interviews. All scripted 😂
The poor delivery man should not have been riding his bike through a busy road like that. He's definitely not going to make his life easy if he injures anyone. Derek should have dealt with things differently, but it wasn't like the delivery man was intimidated by Derek. Both men in the wrong. Either way, this was all scripted to help promote the Joe Joyce fight, so who cares 😂
I would definitely do the same if I was completely in the right. The footage doesn't show us how the confrontation started. The reports say that the Deliveroo rider was attempting to ride through the busy road, Derek tried to reason with the guy and point out his error, but the guy wasn't happy. It wasn't like that guy was terrified of Derek, he was standing up to him and arguing. The Police came and saw it for what it was and didn't take it any further. If the rider tells the Police officer that he was riding through a busy road full of people, they would just tell him he should have dismounted. The Police would have just told Derek that even though he told the guy the right thing, he should have never have touched the guy.
He's a clown & I hope Deliveroo lad is already in contact with a lawyer because he's due a pay out for that. Unless he made contact with someone or damaged property with the bike then nobody that isn't the property owner, authorised security or law enforcement is entitled to confront or tell him where he can/can't ride.
I totally hear what you are saying, but the majority of these cyclists ride through inappropriate places. I have lost count with the amount of times I've walked on a busy pavement and a cyclist is trying to ride through crowds. We don't see what happened from the beginning, but we can clearly see that it's not safe to ride a bike through that road. Anyone with common sense would dismount and walk through. What Derek said wasn't wrong, but how he said it and it turning into a physical altercation is was wrong. The police arrived and would have come to the same conclusion, hence the reason why they didn't take the matter further.
Chisora is two faced and is friends with anyone who can give him money. Joyce should deal with him if he doesn't get involved in close range stuff with him tonight. Otherwise it could be a long shocking night for Joyce.
I totally agree. In my prediction video that I uploaded 2 days ago, I said that Joyce would win by stoppage and needs to do what Tyson Fury did to Derek and similar to how he beat Dubois, and that's use the jab to keep Chisora at distance to control the range, wait for openings and not get into unnecessary exchanges. Joyce has better stamina and boxing skills than Chisora, and must take advantage of his size.
@@Eric76 I'm extremely surprised by the tactics and what Joe did in the fight. I picked Joe to win the fight by stoppage, as long as he commanded the center of the ring and work off his jab, to create distance from Derek and wait for openings to attack. Similar to how he performed against Dubois, but he did none of those things and played to Derek's strengths.
@@reynold_tv I agree and where does Joyce go now? Does he at his age want to rebuild yet again or quit? I think he should consider his style as it seems very open and prone to being hit. Simply walking hard hitting and accurate hitters down won’t work..
I totally agree. There was nothing wrong with what he had to say to the Deliveroo rider about dismounting on a busy road, but it's the way you say things to people that will sometimes cause an overreaction. Both men have something to learn from this situation 💯

That was embarrassing! Derek was the only one that had a problem with Troy Hawk at that press conference. I like how Troy didn't back down and proceeded to call Derek a dangerously looking table cloth (referring to Del's Five Guys outfit)! 🤣🤣🤣😭

It wasn't Tyson Fury. Should Derek have head butted the guy? No. Should the Deliveroo rider been riding through that particular part? No. As human beings, regardless of race, we have to learn how to communicate with each in a respectful manner. We don't always get it right, but it is important that we learn from our actions.
