Yeah this is an old one, when Tony was still in the group, if you want to see more of him I recommend their Phantom of the Opera cover, also they did a collaboration with Home Free a while ago, it's Survivor (it's really fun and kinda goes with the spooky vibes). Other fairly recent Halloween videos they have is Kidnap the Sandy Claws and This is Halloween from the Nightmare before Christmas

Yes this song was sung by the Thurl Ravenscroft quartet for the opening of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion. Thurl you may know as the original voice of Tony the Tiger or the voice of the cartoon Grinch. Many bass singers love to do Thurl covers. Geoff has done “Headless Horseman” and “Saddle Up”. This is so fun for Halloween Thanks for your reaction

Thurl sang “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” but the grinch’s voice and the narrator were Boris Karloff.

If you look at Geoff's solo channel, he's done readings of "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Raven", and "An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge", all great for Halloween, though I'm not sure you want to do a reaction video on them as they're not exactly short.

Once Upon a .Dream is fabulous, it's the eeriest of the Halloween content. It was covered to promote the Malificent movie a few years ago, it wasn't Halloweeny before but their version is.

Top notch production, concept and costumes. VP are the masters of combining theatrics and A cappella. Very much enjoyed this Jeff. Fun watching you falling in love with this type of music. 🎃🎃🎃👻

It was a nice tribute to the original 'grim grinning ghosts; in the Haunted Mansion ride....5 busts had faces projected onto them as they sang this song, the deep voiced one was Thurl Ravensroft...Geoff's role model for all things deep voiced.....>^^

With me it was their eyes. Creepy!!! Have you seen I'm A Survivor with Home Free? Its an old one and more silly than scary but the make up and costumes and of course harmonies are great. s

After watching Haunted Mansion with Eddie Murphy years ago I remember they were my favorite part and loved the ending to that movie. We watch that movie every single year during Fall season. So cozy for the family. Good Job Sir!

This is one of their best Halloween songs, Survivor might be the funniest. They have several spooky songs, I don't think that you have done "Once Upon a Dream" yet. I know the original isn't spooky or Halloweeny, their version definitely is. They did it for the Malificent movie that came out a few years ago. Survivor is awesome because the song is awesome and it's both VoicePlay and Home Free, it's Hysterical and so much to process with the groups going back and forth. Once Upon a Dream is eerie and creepy, it's hard to describe but it's definitely memorable. You mentioned that you loved the eerie feeling, Once Upon a Dream has it in bucketloads.

I went to Disney World shortly after it opened in the early 1970s and the Haunted Mansion was my favorite ride. I don't know how many times I went through the Haunted Mansion that couple of days. The thing that stood out to me on the first trip through was the marble busts singing "Grim Grinning Ghosts". I just absolutely loved this song, so much so that I bought the LP (on vinyl, no such thing as CD in those days). The LP was the tour through the HM with Ron Howard as one of the main characters in the story.

Nice story! thanks for sharing . How lucky. I've only watched the movie with Eddie Murphy and we watch it every single year during the Fall with the family never fails to lift out spirits up. Such a fun, family friendly movie.

I just watched the non-costumed version (much shorter). The creepiness factor of the being marbleized really adds to the feeling.

The other day I was on hold with a company, listening to their hold music. Wasn’t bad, but I found myself thinking how fake the percussion sounded. It actually took me a minute to realize I was comparing it to Layne! I guess I’m spoiled now.
