I believe that Eliana's version of the first OST is meant to be a different take on it, she's not a stand in which is why the instrumental is changed as well. I could very well be wrong though
@@AaronJMitch03 I read it somewhere, that it was a different singer, I don't remember where though. Wasn't just a random comment or something, read it on some of the anime sites.
Counterattack on mankind is that soundtrack that gives awe. It really plays with your emotions. I also teared up hearing that soundtrack when it played at the end of season 2.
I love your reaction so much. It was so genuine. And I couldnt agree more Hirayoku is a mad man to create such masterpiece. His work is just a while another level. You can feel the later of emotion of those music. Really love it man. Keep it up ur reaction ❤
Thank you so much for the support! His work is 100% genius. Everything from the composition of his tracks, to the talented people he has performing every piece of music. The only possible rival I could see to him, would be Kevin Penkin from Made in Abyss. Though Kevin tends to be more soulful, while Sawano seems to go more toward being epic and grandiose. Either way, it's incredible to hear this man's work. Every single time.
This video HAS BEEN COPYRIGHT CLAIMED. Which is a GREAT thing! It should mean, I don't have to take it down or worry about a strike! Please go and support the wonderful people that worked on this! They deserve every bit of support! ORIGINAL VIDEO LINK: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a6Fl1Xl1ogg.html
Thanks for the comment! I knew when my friend mentioned it to me, I just had to do this on camera... I mostly knew Sawano through Seven Deadly Sins and Aldnoah Zero. Aside from what I'd heard of his OST from the first season of Attack on Titan. But that was enough to know I had to check this video out! So glad I did, this REALLY needs more people checking it out on RU-vid! I'll say Attack on Titan is UNDOUBTEDLY one of the best musical scores of all time when it comes to anime. Maybe even shows/movies as well.
I really appreciate it! I've always had a very soft spot for music. Especially when it's connected with a beautiful story, or nostalgia in general. It's crazy that it impacted me so hard, when I'd only ever seen season 1 of Attack on Titan. But, I guess that just goes to show exactly how incredible this performance truly was! And the emotional impact that Sawano's music brings to the table!
How could anyone NOT pay attention to such an amazing piece! of music? I 100% agree, it's a masterpiece. So much emotion, and such a powerful sound. I'd never heard the whole thing straight through, only the piece of it that I recall playing in like episode 7 (I think?) when Mikasa was about to give up on living. I freaking loved it there, but it was incredible to hear the entire piece!
I really appreciate the kind words! Thank you so much! I just recently resumed watching Attack on Titan after years of holding off after completing the first season. (I wanted to record my reactions for AoT when I brought my channel back.) I absolutely loved the first season. And had to wait like 4-5 years to continue. So, I think that gave me the strong surge of emotion I was feeling off of this. Not to mention, the incredible talent of every single person on that stage! I'm just so happy I'm back watching the anime, it's been such a struggle not being able to watch it until now.
Thank you so much man! Appreciate the support! I've got the Seven Deadly Sins version coming up either later tonight, or tomorrow as well. After seeing this, I had to check that out immediately after, haha.
Second one is a piece you definitely have heard before. That's called Before Lights Out and you will recognize it as the OST during Erwin's charge This is an absolute masterpiece ❤️❤️❤️
1.The first one some people call the Divine Comedy of Transfiguration 2.The second song you haven't seen the third season I won't give any spoilers 4.4th aka Mutiny song and Ymir jumping down and turning into a Titan for Historia 5.The fifth song I will dedicate to Sasha 6.The sixth is also a renegade song, describing the state of mind of Reiner and Bertholdt
Regarding 2. , I dont think it´s a spoiler to say it´s the theme song for a big betrayal, that still gives context to the situation without spoilering. Basically a "traitors requiem" you could say.
I got really teared up listening to this masterpiece as well. You should listen to attack D and Call of Silence aot soundtract but sadly no live version of this.
The support is very greatly appreciated! Thank you for the amazing comment too! I would love to do more videos like this from time-to-time. Even though I focus mainly on anime reactions. It's a fun change of pace when I get to check out things like this! Hopefully you'll enjoy my future content as well, and thanks again!
Dude I just could empathize with your I NEED TO PUT THE HEADPHONES INSIDE MY BRAIN vibes so bad 😂 Loved the reaction! I mean, to watch someone reacting to this master performance is great, but watching someone who is watching or already watched AoT with the amount of feelings it brings, is awesome! I don't know if you already know it, but the guy with the synths is Kohta Yamamoto, the responsible for most of S4 soundtrack. He made an amazing job as well but if you look for some of his AoT tracks just be careful because most of them comes with videos full of spoilers. And talking of spoilers, in November I think, it was made this official special event with a +2hours live concert with a mix of AoT soundtrack. If you skip the first minutes because talked-scene-spoilers and just put it in the background (no watching because screen with s4 scenes) is an amazing experience as well
Definitely appreciate you for checking it out! I'm big on music, and was just starting back on my Attack on Titan journey. So, this video made a lot of sense to check out! Thanks to a friend of my who suggested it. Really glad he got me to take a look, because I never would have known this video even existed!
Just want to clarify one thing - it wasn't live in the traditional sense, it's a video recording of them in the studio recording the tracks for the release. So what you're seeing and hearing is probably an amalgamation of the best takes that they decided to use in the recording, and there are some overdubs - as great as Eliana is she can't sing both the backing chant and those soaring lines at the same time!
Thanks for the clarification, and that is perfectly fine! We still got to see it done right in front of us, and it was breathtaking! I'm curious if they actually do have any live performances of the OST from this show... Might have to look that up and see!
This is probably the most impressive thing I've seen recorded live... And I have seen some insane artists perform live from all across the world (as I'm really big on music!) Hiroyuki Sawano is in a class of his own. Not just in anime music, but music in general.
Thank you so much! I am currently reacting to Attack on Titan, so I will have new episodes at least once a week! I plan to catch up before the final season comes out!
@@Ghosttendency Wow! I'm really looking forward to it! If you don't mind, I'd be happy if you would occasionally respond to the ost. When season2 is over, I recommend "barricade"! I'm using Google Translate, so the sentences may not be correct.
I will say, I had to stop reading your comment when you mentioned season 3. I just don't want any possible spoilers. Since I am currently recording reactions to the show and not quite at season 3, just yet. But thank you for the title of the song regardless!
