Reaction to Houston Texans OC Bobby Slowik Press Conference 

I had a vision last night… the TeXans will have that Lombardi Trophy 🏆 this season.

One thing Ryans said about the WR's is that they are all different with different skill sets and they cant be defended the same way. Mixon is still good he's 28 and healthy also I think Slowik will have a good running scheme besides pound it up the middle. If the Texans advance in the playoffs this year then the McNairs should give Demeco and Slowik big raises and offer Slowik an Assistant Head Coaching position, Super Bowl is the goal.

Hey Seth, couple thoughts from this week. Mike McDaniel could lose his job this year. Would be a cool replacement for Bobby. Espada is the Astros version of Stephan Silas - similar demeanor

Some things I think Slowik could improve upon: 1) in-game adjustments 2) zone+gap run scheme 3) play call sequencing seemed predictable at times; lot of 1st down runs that ran into a brick wall and had Stroud bail out the offense on 3rd & long. 4) more traditional drop back passing concepts (more McVay than Shanahan)

Losing Slowik is definitely on my mind. He has IT as a coach and replacing his brain will be difficult. Just don’t go to Cowboys please.

I sure hope they are right about Joe Mixon. Bringing in yet another running back who's best years are probably behind him. 7 years in the NFL with average career of NFL running back at 4. Haven't we been down this road a few times before??

The one part of CJ's game that I look forward to seeing improved--and I'm sure it will be improved--is his selling the fake run. I'm sure Mixon will be very helpful with this.

I concentrate on the players that’s what’s about to happen, but if I was Cal McNair I would keep BOBBY SLOWIK happy and pay him. Yo stay here, we need him .. this is what the organization should stick to.

I’m just hoping that Slowik stays for the season before he makes a move.

If the Texans start scoring 31 to 38 points a game and winning, any receiver getting disgruntled over his numbers, I would tell him…………..and don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
