Reaction to IU MMA 2017 Through The Night & Dear Name and Dear Name Eng Sub at Love Poem Concert 😥💖 

I'm back with more IU reaction videos. I'm going to spam you guys for next few days 😅 This MMA performance was amazing especially Dear Name..it was so touching when everyone was singing. The Dear Name live at Love Poem concert was heart wrenching 😢😢 I keep saying it's a fancam but is it really one? What do you guys think?

IU did send the invitations to those unknown artists such as street singers, backup singers, and the sign language people (IU learned the sign language for her drama called My Mister) who may never be able have the opportunity to sing on the stage so she decided to give them hope that they can still dream and keep pursuit their dream! Many of us cried watching that performance since we knew exactly what she did and this is one of the reason why she is called the angel without the wings because she is always doing things for others and donate so much as well. The last encore dear name performance was heartbreaking because IU just found out one of her friend took her own life right before she went back up on the stage, this is why she paused towards the end to compose herself and many of the audience cried and thanked her for getting through the song and worried about her. This was IU’s third close friend who took their own life because of cyber bullying! These same cyber bullies are also trying to attack IU to do same for many years and all of us are trying to protect IU from them. They hate IU even more because she has been fighting back and standing up against them. We all need to keep protecting Iu from these nasty evils. I’m glad you found IU and and appreciating her true talent and more you know about IU, you will love her even more! Happy listening 💜💙

She combined the 2 songs to tell one story. In through the night she writes a letter to a person and sends fireflies to that person. So the jars that kids are holding on stage are fireflies. At her Hong Kong concert in 2017 her staff handed out cards to the audience so they could write their names on it and hold it up during Dear Name, a song where IU is telling a person that she will not forget them and will remember their name. IU was so taken by it that she also had to pause during the song. The people calling out their names is simply and extension of this. The singers, two of which are her back up singers (the producers of the MMA screwed this part up as they names were to appear when they sang. The 2019 performance of Dear Name was at her last Seoul concert where she had learned before singing this song the Goo Hara was found dead, having taken her own life, making the 2nd of her 2 friends to have done so in 30 days. She strughled to finish has you can see in this performance. She ask the crowd to help her and sing for her if she couldn't. Then she tells then that she is worried about them and she wants them to take care of themselfs and love eachother. Of course these events lead to her writing her song Eight shortly thereafter. Her 2019 concert in the round was held at the Olympic Gymnastics Area in Seoul. It was truly world class concert, only being out fone by her Golden Hour concert and there are many performances from this concert available, some even with Subtitles. Her performances of Blueming, Hold My Hand, The Vistor, Love Poem, Autumn Moring, The Meaning of You are all iconic performances. Is she human their are many who think she is an angel. Welcome to the IU rabbit hole, it is a wonderful and amazing journey. I can't tell you how many other people I have watched ho on this journey of discovery of this amazing talent. Many have come from being dedicated BTS or Shinee fans etc. and then discovered IU. Who according to Tolling Stone Magazine is one of the Greatest Singers of All Time. Enjoy your jouney.

yesss.... it implied that they are invited by IU with her "night letter" (through the night = bampyeonji/ night letter). They're other singers, like rookie singer, street busker, supporting singer etc who dream big but maybe difficult to get "big". IU shared the stage with them. Its related to The song : "Dear Name", name her can be translated into "dream" as well Its like they said their name, their dream to the world : "My name is ...." before last chorus ... that MMA stage is a legend, bcs of that installation, also bcs its arguably the scene when IU is ascended to "legend" status. She got a daesang at that night for Palette (album). Its sooooo difficult to get album daesang for soloist .... also, if you still dont know, Through The Night is very popular in S.Korea... like maybe the 2nd most played female singer songs in last 6 year

This was the last night of her LOVE POME tour in SOUL , this was her last song and she got bad news when she went back to change her clothes and found out one of her best friends FX member SULLI had took her own life on OCT 14TH 2019 so that is what she was saying at the start of the song , it was a shock for IU because she was going on a vacation trip after the tour ended with SULLI and GOO HARHA who also took her own life 3 weeks later after SULLI passed away . You CAN ALSO see IU break down and cry half way through the song ...

About last performance It's been almost 1 month after sulli's death.... Kpop lost hara that day. You can see she seems devastated... Two performance of dear name with totally different vibes. In first she told the world street singer back-up singers also have name... And in 2nd it is a sorrowful anthem with heavy heart in pain of losing a dear friend. Again want to appreciate how professional she is....

I'm not sure you understand the importance of the love poem song. This was right after she found out her friend committed suicide committed suicide. I think you should I've read some comments before you posted this one
