It was perfect when he performed it solo but as a duet with Olivia it was truly magnificent. Their voices perfectly matched and the emotion they sang with and their chemistry tougether just makes this so beautiful. Thank you so much for appreciating our john as ,much as we do. John and Livvie have been singing together for years. I love this version of them together. They were a similar age and both started as teens. My husband went to school with Olivia. He was a very young 14 and I asked him how he liked her. He told me she was a girl, a smiley one. She went to his sister school and they had to do dance practice with them and then ask one to the dance. He didn’t go.😂 Thank you for this one. This is the Main Event concert. Also in this concert is John and Anthony Warlow singing Granada if you want to see John singing Opera. They are funny together.

Beautiful version of the song, ONJ and Farnsey sung and performed this so well and with so much emotion.

Their mutual respect for each other (I was going to say talent but it goes so much further than that) is evident in this performance, even when I close my eyes. It heartens me to know you shared a similar relationship with your late wife too. Those feelings never leave.

I have seen this duet more than 50 times and still get goosebumps every time. Magnificent. I'm sorry to hear about your wife. You obviously had a great marriage.

Lovely song written by Graeham Goble (Little River Band) and beautifully adapted and orchestrated for a dual vocal. I believe the song is about unrequited love.

It's an exquisite performance, adjectives just don't do it justice. John's nature is to be extremely funny & jovial 90% of the time (even during his current cancer battle according to his sons) BUT when a song calls for a special, heartfelt delivery he can turn on his dedication & seriousness to give the ultimate justice to any song or performance in a heart beat, perfectly LIVE at any time. If not already done (I can't find on your channel) can you react to John Farnham playing the lead in Australia's best selling musical of all time, "Jesus Christ Superstar" along with many greats of the Aus music industry. It's sublime & beyond outstanding. It REALLY showcases how he can do ANYTHING PERFECTLY LIVE, at any point in time. No one else has done a better job playing that part worldwide (that I've seen) I'm sure if that musical was still touring & performing as it was back then it would STILL be selling out EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT. The whole country would have gone to see it by now, even those (like myself) who aren't into musicals or religion. It transends to anyone once heard.

A truly epic performance from both John & Olivia, they really did work well together and shared a mutual admiration...
