I’m an AI-trooper (AleXa’s fandoms name) and have been her fan since debut. The situation you touched on, was very must taken out of context and twisted which led to misunderstandings ect. It all started because of only a couple of bubble messages were re-posted on the X and people outside of the fandom & people who didnt know her or the context/what had led up to said messages, took mentioned messages out of context and thought that she was talking about her fans even though she wasnt which ultimately led to a hate train towards AleXa. The thing is though, her fans were not even angry or sad/blaming themselves, her fans didnt even think that she was blaming them in anyway ect and the people that started the hate train towards AleXa were the ones that made the situation the way it was. AI-troopers are very aware and proud of AleXa for being her authentic/genuine self, being openminded and inclusive of everyone and we are very use to her expressing herself + her fans encourage her to do so. Also she has a unique sense of humor, and if your not familiar with her, some may misunderstand her. I love how she has clear boundaries with us fans and will call out bs if need be. Overall she is such a sweetheart and always does her best for the fans as a lot of her fans have been with her on her journey to get to where she is today even before her debut. She has also expressed before how her fans message/kinds words are what she values to most and said if people want to support her in anyway like buying her album or streaming her songs ect then they can but if you as fan are unable to do so, then that is complete completely okay and it doesnt make you a less of a fan. To try and keep a story short as possible. AleXa had made couple of livestreams before the misunderstanding happened and talked to us openly about her situation with her company like for example how her company isnt promoting her in korea or US, how she has talked with them but they arent fully listening to her and in a way had her in the basement for more than a year, almost two. She also shared that her manager is someone she trust and can talked to & how some other people at the company have also taken her side when she has had disagreements with her company/management, So I guess thats something positive. AleXa expressed and explained how she had moved to korea, learned the language and culture and had worked her hardest to debut as kpop idol. She was very emotional as she explained how she wishes to make a korean comeback and to promote regularly to meet fans & because she misses performing. AleXa is a singer and performer, so her getting emotional isnt really suprising but I think also the fact that other then wanting to become a kpop idol and wanting to connect with her roots… One of AleXa’s goals while building her career in korea, was to help her mother find her birth family as her mother had been adopted by a family in the US when she was a child. So getting emotional is very much understandable. AleXa also in her recent livestreams talked about her own mental health journey and struggles and how that has effect her ect. She herself talked openly about how being a kpop idol is just as difficult but just as fun as she had imagined it to be, but also shared how having mental health struggles/illness can make it even harder. AleXa herself has bipolar disorder and depression, she has had them for 10 years or more as of now. She revealed that when she is depressed and sometimes she doesnt/can’t eat, its feigned concern even for her and she gets encouraged to eat but then when she is longer teetering on 39kg suddenly she is “not pretty anymore”. She is small in figure and also she is only little over 140cm tall, known to be very fit with muscles and all which is why some have said she doesnt fit stereotypical beauty standards. So for her company that up until I guess resently had never tried to control her weight ect, something must be going on. AleXa made sure make clear though that even if her company or anyone says something like that she should lose weihht, accourding to her she lets it in one ear and out the other sort of speak and that ULTIMATELY SHE WILL DO HER ect. All the while doing these livesstreams she made sure to we knew she was talking about the company and never fans, also she made sure us fans knew that she sees our efforts and is grateful. The reasons she even talked about these things was because even us fans asked and wanted her to express herself & share her thoughts, but also so that we could know at least some of her situation & to see if we could help her in anyway. After AleXa had posted those messages on bubble and they were re-uploaded to the X, AleXa saw everything that people were saying about her and when I say everything, I truly mean every horrible thing aka the whole hate train (Apparently someone had tagged her). So she went to bubble to clarified that at no time was she referring to the fans and that she is nothing but grateful to them. She also said that she knows the hard work of her fans and that we are the reason she does what she does. AleXa also talked about how she is tired of almost not being allowed to express negative emotions as an artist in relation to certain aspects of her career without people on the internet coming out to say things that are not true, and of people talking about her without knowing her or to her or her situation ect. She also knows that many colleagues in the industry (that is, other idols) feel the same as her.

AleXa’s clarification on the situation and the hate bandwagen (messages from AleXa bubble); Ps. This needed to be said Queen. I didn’t want to say anything but im tired of constantly holding my tongue. My fans are literally the reason i do what i do and it would make no logical or ethical sense for me to say “hey you guys aren’t doing enough for me how dare you”. What the actual hell? You all are doing all YOU can and that goes WILDLY appreciated day by day. But I’ll be damned if i’m not allowed to express any negative human emotions without the ridicule of the internet. People who clearly don’t know me, about my artistry, or my situation continue to speak on me and keep my name in their mouth like a damn mint. There’s bound to be backlash for this but so be it. Myself and MANY others (Idols) are tired of the internet twisting our words, flipping the script and being malicious as hell. Just being nasty online is viewed as trendy and cool by some. Its not edgy and it’s not for a hit tweet ffs. Do you not realize we are human beings going through sh¡t on the daily. I’m not entitled to jacksh¡t as an artist but i’ll be damned if im not allowed to be disappointed and feel negative emotions about certain aspects of my career. And my fans have NEVER been the source of those negative emotions. So quit speaking on my name like you know me because clearly you don’t yet you care enough to jump on the hate bandwagon for a attention on the internet. I’m so sick of it. People keep saying ”idols are humans too be careful with what you say” Still people always come out of the woodwork with something to say when they should learn to keep their mouth shut. Sometimes i just want to delete all the social media accounts and disappear. So many people i know want to say this but can never vocalize it, and if i take a hit for us all then so be it cause someone has to say it! AleXa’s recent song Sick which this whole misunderstanding was related to, is a song she had said she likes but its a song that sticks out in a her recent songs as it is one of the only ones she did not have a hand in writing herself. She has shared with fans and given us sneak peeks of the songs she has made, written ect. AleXa though has said that she is more excited for her next song called It’s Okay to come out as she had her hand in writing/composing it and it is about mental health. I’m over here praying the company lets her release all her songs as she has already shown to us ever since her debut how good of a songwriter/composer she is.

The Karina and Lee Jae Wook relationship sounds like something out of a kdrama plot. The video you see of them together is when they first met. Apparently they were the only two Koreans at the event so they were kind of forced together. They immediately clicked and began dating right after.
