Would you say Darwin’s performance in front of goal, particularly in the second half of last season, was consistent? It’s one thing to have a favorite player, and another to be honest about their shortcomings. These pundits have to be honest regardless of what the keyboard warriors think.

@@junioradult6219 Salah is on three times the wages because he has played for Liverpool FC for 7 years and has won every club trophy to be won. Whilst contributing immeasurably to the cause with his goals. If you’re a true supporter you would know this. Núñez is a favourite of mine. But l cannot delude myself into thinking that his finishing didn’t leave a lot to be desired last season. He had far more clear cut chances than Jota and Díaz. And Jota was out for a fair number of games injured. Being honest about a player doesn’t mean you hate them. You just wish them to do better.

Who’s complaining?

Realistic. He made excellent points. He praised the winning effort, and rightfully criticized our defense. And most importantly he noted that Slot has to work on not giving the type of chances against better quality opponents. Because we will get slaughtered. This is what these good analysts do, week in, week out, and get hammered by the keyboard warriors who cannot bear for their teams to be criticized.

Because City is an excellent team, with fewer flaws than most. Craig is ex Chelsea and Stevie is ex Liverpool. Do you think they praise City because they’re biased FOR them? No. Because they have to be honest and give kudos where it’s due.

@@yourdailyjoe3155 LFC took their foot off the gas and were happy to defend. Most of those shots, if you watched the game, weren’t dangerous. Kelleher had a few decent saves to make but that’s how the sport works. It wasn’t like he was forced to make miraculous saves left and right.

Why? Because he spoke the truth and you can’t handle it? Being the supporter of a club, which Stevie is, means you have to be honest and unbiased. Liverpool gave too many chances to Bournemouth today. Against quality opponents we would have been slaughtered. Along with the real supporters, he is glad that we’re sitting top of the league and celebrating our return to winning ways in the league. BUT, we have to tighten up our defense. Stevie is a true Red and an excellent, unbiased pundit.
