This is such a fun song The guy in the white suit is Suga, member of the biggest musical act on the planet, BTS. He co-wrote and produced this song for PSY. Multitalented guy, he has won awards for producing songs for other artists, on top of being one of the best rappers in Korea. His lyrics are often biting, intense, but also honest, heartfelt and vulnerable. He isn't afraid to take on harsh topics that are a big taboo in Korea, such as mental health, depression or social anxiety, all of which he himself battles with. Outside of his work with BTS he has 2 solo albums/mixtapes where he goes by the name of AGUST D. The song Daechwita from his 2nd solo album has 300 + million views on YT. And he released it for free, if you can believe that. I would urge you to check out BTS, they have a large variety of songs to choose from. And i get that you said you dont read lyrics, but this is one artist and group, where you want those subs ASAP. Meanigfull, deep, touching, empowering, and also sometimes a very clever social comentary. Give them a try, there is a reason why they have such a large following, spanning all generations and genders, from diverse racial and economical backgrounds. And it's not just because they're hot and can dance.

Someone who's first impression of Suga is from That That 😂 Suga (the man in the white suit) is a member of BTS, the most popular group (and one of the most popular music acts) in the world right now. You've said you don't like to watch with captions, but if you do try some of BTS' work, I highly recommend doing it. Some reactors even play the video twice in one reaction to pay attention to the lyrics, because BTS do have a lot to say in their lyrics. I would recommend checking out ON Kinetic Manifesto or Black Swan to start of with, but if you have a prefered genre, BTS can probably deliver. They'll actually be releasing an anthology album Proof on June 10th, so this is a very good time to get into them :). And to explain the first paragraph, Suga kind of surprised even us fans with this, because he's usually a very calm, subdued type of person. And he's also not a member of the dance line, so it's amazing to see him dancing like this. Like, we knew he can dance, but I don't think we actually expected this 😂

This is my favorite summer song because you're right, it's fun! You were right about Psy, love him he's eccentric and such a blast. The behind the scenes of the video are worth a watch too.
SUGA from BTS was the one that dropped in the video, and he wrote and produced this song, with PSY, and he was talked into featuring on it, and doing the choreography, but it was a very fun experience for both of them. I would LOVE to see you react to BTS. Now I'm going to check out the Dynamite reaction. If you are going to react to more of BTS, please use captions, because BTS are all about their message and lyricism. They have written and produced their own music from the beginning. Not to say they don't have songs that were not written by them, but the majority of their music is. You can always run the song through with out captions to get a fee for the song, then re-watch it with captions for the lyric breakdown, or do the lyrics first, then play the video. Reactors all do it differently. And pausing to catch lyrics is not a bad thing. ARMY's will support you either way. You're clueless but in a positive way so it's cute and fun to watch you. Glad you enjoyed Psy and Yoongi's song. It's a super fun bop for sure. If you start reacting to BTS, the lyrics are an immensely important part of most of their music, so you'll need to get used to captions. Army tends to get miffed if reactors overlook the messaging behind their music.
about you being able to do the dance, I think you nailed it on the head. PSY's choreos often have a very fun base set of moves that everyone can do and because of that his dances tend to go viral.
It's possible that the song and clucking may be a Korean cultural reference. Gangnam Style was a joking reference to a wealthy Korean neighborhood called "Gangnam". In an interview PSY said the song was pretty much saying "Dress nice dance cheesy", a comment on the phoniness of the people who lived in Gangnam.
SUGA! I really hope you check out his group BTS. They have a HUGE discography spanning over nine years and started as a hiphop crew (he is one of the first two members -- both underground rappers). They are also well-known for writing/producing much of their own music (as well as for other artists). Maybe check out their 2021 Room Live Festa performance. It's a medley of lighthearted b-sides, so not even their most known songs, but are still fan favorites. It will give an idea of the breadth of their work and genres.

OK, I think this is the first time I have ever watched a reactor who did not know that was Suga (Min Yoongi), in the white suit. lol I will echo a lot of other comments, it is time for you to get into BTS (I'm here a month later, so maybe you already have) and I can recommend a couple of BTS intro videos as well: short version Who is BTS by SUGA and spice. You should definitely react to BTS (one of the members, Suga, is the guy in the white suit). I really think you’ll like them. They have a very diverse discography and an amazing message they promote through their music.
If you're truly intent in immersing yourself in K-pop then it's definitely time to react to BTS, the biggest music act in the world. A lot of first-time BTS reactors start with Dynamite and then work their way back. And I know you love Blackpink, but I highly recommend checking out the other girl groups that I stated to you before: Everglow (watch the MV "First"), Twice, Mamamoo, Itzy, Dreamcatcher, Red Velvet and 2NE1, for starters. Also, your comment on wanting to dance to this vid highlights just how savvy Psy is with these songs and videos. He makes them catchy yet easy to dance and sing to, which is why they're so universally appealing.

When you get the time, please check out (G) I-dle, their dance practice vid for "My Bag" is insanely good, but they have a ton of great M/Vs out including "Tomboy" which is their latest, I believe. You can't go wrong with them.
