Show-go is definitely on a different level when it comes to musicality. He recently released an entire album of different tracks with his Beatboxing on Spotify, and they're all really well thought out tracks, instead of just him showcasing his various sounds like you explained. From a judging standpoint, the submissions that were more like showcases were valued equally, but musicality also seems to have played a huge part overall in the decisions this year. Also, yeah, Stitch is basically like a human polyphonic synthesizer. Dude is unreal.

Stitch was 100 legit. He has tutorials to make all of his sounds. Really awesome guy. But Alem. The first person is a world champ from Several years ago and he did a routine that combined all of his most famous routines into one which is why he one with such a raw old School sound compared too the rest. Edit, the beatbox community is huge and kind and we just want this art on every channel. Thanks for reacting. There are some Really legendary battles out there, and yeah beatboxing in the bathroom echos the bass so without a mic it makes sounds really deep. Oh and alexhino was trolling he’s one of the first world champs. He didn’t expect to win at all

No one is using sound effects, that is cheating in solo category. They use these on LoopStation though

What he is doing is using a technique called polyphonic voice(i.e. splitting your normal voice into 2 voices and doing them together at the same time) in which he is singing and the wididi sound is his special sound called the 626 effect(i.e. a vocalized burp literally). He has done a tutorial on both of those sounds on his channel. If he were to be using effects on the mic then he would have been disqualified. Except this great reaction!

show-go has lots of beatbox videos on his channel and I recommend "A Lil Bit More"

Wildcards usually contain a lot of showing off techniques and sounds, which might make it less enjoyable for non beatboxers, because you can't fully appreciate the technical side of beatbox without knowing how to do those sounds or how hard they are. I recommended something like improver Swiss beatbox shoutout or heartzel bounce with me. You might enjoy those more

Use sound effects is cheating, you can only use it in loopstation. All the sounds are real

1st place River' (fra) 4th place Stitch (mys) and 6th place Show-Go (jpn) sounds great cuz it actually sounds like a song that showcase their music creativeness. rest of them is just showing technique and doesn't sound great felt like just random noises some did sound decent but not well put work of the 3 I mentioned. Those 3 just sounds very cool and chill i love the style.

Lol since you’re confused on some things I’ll try and explain some of the things they’re doing that you’re confused about. I’m a beatboxer of 10 years and am hopefully about to go professional as well as these guys, from my level of experience I can assure you there are no effects used on any mics besides reverb, which only adds echo. To explain stitches ability to sing multiple notes and keys at the same time, he’s using a polyphonic voice tone that is very rare amongst most polyphonic singers in general. I forget the name but I’ll come back and make an edit once I’ve found it again. Secondly, his 626 Bass. The 626 is an 808 bass edited with many adjustments to make a tech-ish voice tone used mainly in hip-hop/rap. He’s done this by suppressing the movements and airflow of a burp, taking away the rough flappy sound of the burp, and just using the expanded throat space and relaxed larynx to resonate his voice in his throat behind his tongue. That’s all I have for right now but I’ll add more to this comment if I see anything else you should know when I finish the video lol. Anyone else feel free to reply if you have questions. :)👍🏻 at the end you mentioned how they were more so showing off different sounds rather than flowing a particular structure. Actually what they’re doing is focusing more on the aspect of drumming and time signatures or technical skills rather than musicality. Beatboxer are judged on three of the following different traits: Musicality, technically, and atmosphere. Someone like Stitch is getting most of his points from musicality and technicality since his sounds were original which doesn’t happen as often as you’d think, and he’s also creating a song rather than a routine so he’s getting extreme points from musicality. This doesn’t mean he’s not getting any points from atmosphere though, he’s almost getting as much atmosphere as the other perks due to the vibe he produces. This is very present in River’s beat as you can clearly tell; using touching lyrics, a variation of trebles and basses as well as an absolutely godly and tasteful assortment of drums and tech.

Stitches whee-de-de sound thing is called the 626 effect, in the film 'Lilo and Stitch' the little blue guy was experiment 626 which is where it gets it's name from. His tutorial explains how he produces the sound, he basically creates the same conditions in his thoat as when you burp. 😂

Stitch (the "Feels Like Nothing" guy) creates an air pocket in his throat and vocalizes through it. These wildcards are only allowed to use reverb and eq on their competition recordings. It is all noises made by their talent. No added effects.
