Lmao the concern the past three years has nothing to do with the defense getting to the opponent quarterback. Sacks are meaningless and at best ends a down, a turnover on the otherhand changes possession completely, so this nonstop ignorance about sacks is an ignorant arguement and completely a nonissue period. At the end of the game the defense simply has to keep the opponents points to less than your score end of discussion. The bad news is sacks do not prevent scores, it simply stops a down they still have 3 more hello.

you got a point but you gotta understand sacks can be game changers, just a single sack can help drive the team into causing a turnover, also let’s not forget that quarterback PRESSURES do wonders and cause picks too

Every single negative play counts, whether it’s sacks, TFLs, PBUs, penalties, turnovers, etc. Sacks put the offense behind the sticks and forces them into obvious passing situations. That gives the defense an advantage knowing what’s coming and will increase the chances of a turnover, or at worst a stalled drive. If the sack is on 3rd down that almost certainly forces a punt and gives your offense incrementally better field position as a result of the lost yardage. Every inch counts. Defense is all about getting the ball back to the offense however they can do it. Sacks and pressure are an important piece of that. You have no idea what you’re saying.

Is the league done pandering and fondling the culture killing nonsense so I can watch a game I use to enjoy? The young players seem to be nice kids, but im done with the lemming commercial aspects of modern sports. I don't care about people's views or beliefs anymore... just responsible freedom and the ability to live without constant headaches from artificial NGO created hustles to cause issues between others, while they take all the gibs. I see ESPN is in decline... that's a good sign I guess. I think maybe I can avoid the rest. Eat hot wings with my brother on Sunday and enjoy a once great game of tactics. Not a fashion show for consumers and self-absorbed cultures. I guess I'll find out. If not, oh well UFC, PC Gaming, and feminine women in SE Asia seem to be a nice plan B. Men adapt.

This is damage control to passify the fans before they realize how screwed up this team is personnel wise. Fans already know that the team will never reach its potential with fotenot and Smith making decisions period. It's truly sad but the team will be 7-10 again for the third year in a row. Fans, do you honestly think one single word spoken today is one bit different than the words spoken before the last two seasons. Mic drop and walkaway.
