This is my favorite cover of this song. Maybe check out Dany doing some solo stuff. Her Foo Fighters cover of Walk is a good one to start and easy to find.
Pau's ability to connect with the meaning behind the lyrics is what I believe stands out...aside from her perfect vocal delivery. Once you listen to this, you can't escape it. It'll stay with you, grow within you, and every time you hear it, it becomes more a part of you. Surrender to it. To me, there is no other version that comes close and I love the Haley/PMJ version.
It is very good, although I still love Radiohead's. I love Johnny Cash's "Hurt" but I also love NIN's. For those two I think I like them equally but in different ways. 🙂
@@rjjsreactions-rk7zhyup, totally PMJs version is awesome, like you say, for different reasons too. Stripped back, one voice, one guitar or piano always gets my vote. Speaking of, check out Morgan James version of ‘take me to church’ if you haven’t. Granted, that lady could sing me the phone book & I’d love it😊
I love this version from Pau... No rehearsal and just raw and beautiful. I would also recommend listening to the Haley Reinhart version which is sultry and jazzy and very different.@@rjjsreactions-rk7zh
Dany has a cover of My Future by Billie Eilish that is quite beautiful. Solo, on the same piano and b/w. Definitely worth a listen. Davy’s range and voice control is so breathtaking. Pau’s voice has the power to generate emotion, hidden and wistful emotions, from the first note of any song she sings. I’ve never heard anything quite like her voice. It’s so gorgeous.
I love the warning and She is my favorite. Her voice is raw and honest. Believable . I think that she needs to work on the runs in the lower register but I adore her.
