I totally see that Sal! My dad took me to see Blade in theaters back in 1998. I was 9 😆 That’s an intense movie for a 9 year old but I loved it 🤘🏼🤘🏼 My mom was pissed he took me lol.

I don’t know if you meant to have your room dark blue but it was a nice touch to add to the video. You should check out the Weeknd rolling stone it is acoustic strings no beats or any big production something smooth and relaxed. You could really hear the weekends voice in that song.

I think like most of his songs, it’s up to the interpreter. This definitely could be about a relationship but there’s a dark undertone, possibly about substance abuse as well as a relationship. The partying and use of the mask he’s inhaling intensifies as the video progresses to the point where he’s being dragged away. He wants the drugs to take his breath away. He becomes unconscious and wakes up sort of in a panic but you know he’s ready to go again.

Has a few reasons left for interpretation such as bdsm and sexual fetishes such as suffocation and stuff as well as substance abuse hence the medical mask and also something as simple as just a relationship as he’s clearly with this woman who he met in the underground club.
