This is the second song I ever heard by Dan Vasc. I listened to it after hearing his 2020 cover of The Sound of Silence (he also did it in 2016), and I deliberately picked it because I'd never heard it before by anyone. Since that night(9/15/20), I've listened to all 200+ covers on his "all covers" list, his original music with his band Fearless, his work with Orion's Reign, and whatever else I can find by him. I have never gotten so hooked on any singer ever, and he's got me listening to genres I never gave a listen to before. Keep the Dan Vasc reactions coming! He's simply the best!

Right there with you Amy! Dan is amazing... You get hooked so you keep watching his videos to see how he'll interpret the next song -- I'm never disappointed. He's so talented! He's very funny too! (See his fan interaction videos) He sings and speaks such good English given Portugeuse is his native language (See Heart of Steel video to hear his Portuguese)

I got an email and was able to read your comment, and I totally agree with you 100%! He's even inspired me to learn Brazilian português! And I've watched almost everything on his channel, including his vlogs, and I've even watched an interview he did on Heavy Talk, and that's entirely in Brazilian português! I think he's a very cool, talented, and friendly guy!

Wow! So impressed and envious that you have been aware of Dan for almost 3 years. It has been 3 months for me and I have been binge-watching whenever I can. It almost feels like stalking at this point. 😉 He is a one-in-a-zillion talent as far as I am concerned. Not enough superlative adjectives to describe his vocal capacity and versatility. I will just say, he is the BEST!

This was the first song I heard by Daniel. I wasn't looking for anything, the video just appeared in my feed. It's been almost a year... I listened to it two or three more times in a row, it was so delicious that I found it... I went to see who the singer was, I had no idea... How surprised I was to learn that the guy is Brazilian, like me, and here almost no one has heard of him?!? oh, my God... this man should be heard and recognized in every corner of the world.❤

Hi Dave. When you like Toss a Coin, then have a look to his other Witcher Cover. Priscilla's Song for example. He did 2 versions of this Song. A Metal Version and a Version like the Original with Lute and really quiet... Would love to see a Video of you and listen to both of them... Trust me it's definitely worth it, I love them both and the difference between them are amazing.

Give it a watch! It’s based off a book, that was turned into a very successful video game, and now it’s a show on Netflix. It’s pretty good and you need no former knowledge to get into it.
