This mv was overwhelming! DubChaeng rap part, Jihyo “Don’t make me hate you”, the reverse kick at the end, Mina’s “perfect world”, JEONGYEON, Tzuyu lines and SAMO looking killer! Nayeon being Nayeon. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I'm not hearing any "hate".. It's a masterpiece.. Any whining is from the usual bunch of complainers whose mission it is to sow discord. Ignore it and enjoy the ever changing genius of Twice!

It's a song about dispatch and sasaengs. They use to have good relationship with TWICE which They called "Perfect World" but it's getting destroyed by sasaengs and Dispatch 'cuz they invade their private life. In the M/V they also show healthy fans that portrayed by the guy who gave yellow flower to Nayeon. He is the only one with different mask and yellow symbolize friendship.

I haven't heard of line complaints, but people should be used to the Japanese line distribution. To make things easier for all the members, since 6 of them don't speak Japanese as their first language, they tend to give the same members the same lines throughout. Which usually leads to just Nayeon and Jihyo in the choruses. I like the little bits of rap in the second parts of the choruses tho, and how Momo Sana and Jeongyeon got a chance to "rap" a little too. Definitely helped spice things up, even things out, and keep things exciting. I also really Tzuyu and Mina's long parts, and I actually REALLY like how they muffled the second chorus.... It definitely saved the song from being too repetitive, and made that last chorus pop even more. Sorry for the random, long rant hahaha, I just wanted to point that out to anyone wondering about their song constructions, cuz it's definitely consistently different than their Korean singles.

The album comes out on 7/28, it always comes out after the mv, we didn't know when the mv would be released until a day before and that was because the premiere was on the Twice channel (they had never done that before). Overall I think the line distribution was fine, some complained more about Sana and Dahyun's screen time. And it's a bop, seriously Twice can kill any concept, and JIHYO WENT CRAZY, the transition from the red outfit to the black GOD I DIED.....

I truly think this is a diss track to haters and sasaengs. The Jihyo lines “I don’t need your love” and “don’t make me hate you.” The Mina lyric “My punishment for embracing my dreams”. And all the fans in masks could represent all the faceless online “fans”. All the chaos happening around them representing fandom wars, hate, industry chaos. All the while they keep performing even when things are crazy around them.
