The "guitar" is his voice with a guitar amp. I'd recommend Badaboom, either the music video or live at Wacken 2014. They also have a great live performance of Fear Of The Dark at Wacken 2014 as well.
I recommend Not doing the Waken performance, as inga (the vocalist who is a woman) is REALLY hard to hear in that performance, but yeah, Badaboom is great
when i saw them live the "distorted guitar" was just him with a bit of plastic foil. its a commo n party trick here to use the foil of a cigarette pack to sound like "old timey radio broadcast"
It’s a cover of Manowar’s ‘Kings of Metal’. Manowar once held the record for ‘loudest band in the world’ in the Guinness Book of Records. Oh, and Manowar are awesome.
Love these guys thank you for sharing them. For more Van Canto awesomeness I'd recommend Rebellion, Badaboom and Last Night of the Kings. Also their cover of Sabaton's Primo Victoria!
this was an "accapella" cover of Manowar's Kings of Metal. Van Canto has 5 vocalists 2 singers and 3 mimics..the "lead guitar" mimic uses mic distortion to mimic guitar distortion
I agree, i must admit i thot they were making a parody after wish master the first time i saw them. But after that i became a true believer în The van canto force
First things first: If you like their music and have the chance to do so at some point, go see them live, it's a blast every time. I've talked to some of them quite a few times, they are a real cool bunch of people, and yes, while many people just don't like their style and they don't tend to take themselves seriously in some of their videos, their music is some serious good stuff. I can especially recommend "last night of the kings" if you want to look at another video, it'S a really, really good song, much quieter, but also really powerful. Also: There's nothing like not being abled to sing a song because there's no lyrics when you have been a Van Canto fan for some time, we can sing anything. ANYTHING! :D
It's been awhile since you've done alter bridge. Could you please squeeze one in there. All ends well is the name of the next one you should do. Very meaningful and uplifting song that got me through a very rough time in my life and could do the same for others.
