I was there. Frankly, Cronin was out-coached and Campbell and Singleton were ineffective for an entire half. What a terrible way to go out.

An 11 minute scoring drought and not pressing the ball with 12 seconds left is the loss.

Rebounding, rebounding, rebounding...just killed them. Rebounding is all about effort. Proud of the team, but boards are controllable.

That last 3 by the zags, Cronin said Dylan should have been tighter on him because he has made those shots in the past but at the same time it’s a tough shot. Shouldn’t have been in that position though. That stretch was brutal in the second half. Team is resilient and tough though.

this one hurts more. but!! this was truly a gutsy comeback by a short handed and very tired UCLA team. Hopefully there will be a next season but with the way this war is going its not looking good. all i can say is prepare and keep your families safe. Go UCLA!

Same story. UcLa gets up by 8,9, 13, in a game and they can't close it out. They did it with Arizona, last year, this year, North Carolina last year, now Gonzaga at the worst possible time. Cronin gets out coached, again! This is on him. Hugely disappointing. And season defining. Gonzaga, beats down ucla , again. UcLa gives up a double digit lead, again.

Campbell and Singleton didn’t score in the 2nd half, and you can’t win many games with your guards disappearing like that.

Great way to fight back. Getting outrebounded by 22 is what lost the game. Rarely win a game getting outrebounded that way.

Did Tiger score in the 2nd half? Why no resistance on Strawthern 3 point short. Lightning strikes again, Scruggs a few years ago with a last second three point shot and Strwthern this year. Both made statements that they end practice by taking these 3 point shots. Didn't Cronin think that could strike twice? Sad Bruin Fan...

UCLA's weakness is we do not have a great offensive option. JJ Jr is a blue collar, rugged offensive option, and not taking anything away from him, but it is not a good thing that he is the best option UCLA has for scoring. Bailey would be a total baller next year for UCLA if he comes back, but the time off from injury kinda held him back. He is really blooming as an offensive player, but juuusst not quite there yet. Singleton has gone cold. Tyger is a great ball handler and disher, but yeah, not your offensive weapon. And no bench. The bench is just such a no show. UCLA scores when they get top of the key turnovers or if the team misses on jump shots. When post players miss, when UCLA gets a rebound, they are so far underneath the opponent's basket, they have a hard time getting out in transition for fast buckets. And without fast buckets, they just don't have enough scoring options to win it against a team that can play defense. Granted Zags were not great on defense usually, but man, when UCLA goes cold, they are just dead. 11+ minutes without a bucket from the field. The fact that UCLA actually took the lead with seconds left is a testament to their tenacity. But, you can't be a final 4 or championship team when your offense goes that dead over and over throughout the season. Hopefully, Bailey and Bona sticks around and get better on offense. Tyger can actually come back next year. The 3 of them, assuming Bailey and Bona get better on offense will be a great core for next year. JJ Jr should go pro while he has the ankles to do so, though I won't turn him down if he comes back. Jaylen will probably go pro/leave. UCLA as 3 incoming players at this time so will need 3 to leave. 2 will have to leave due to end of eligibility, and I can see JJ Jr and Jaylen leaving. But the core of Tyger, Bailey and Bona is a good group. Hopefully the 3 incoming can build to our bench. If the core 3 gets better on offense and the bench can give more so the starters can get just a little more help, then UCLA will be making their championship run next year. If Bona, Bailey, Tyger, JJ Jr, and Jaylen all leave, then it'll be a rebuilding year.

Tyger needs to stop jacking up bricks from 3, ESPECIALLY when we get Offensive Rebounds and the shot clock resets and the opponent has all the momentum. He did it a couple times today and right at the start of the new shot clock! It just fed so much in to Gonzaga’s comeback. So bad

Getting killed on the Glass in the second half wore them out in that 10 minute stretch. THEN ..... they got the breather when they reviewed that shot clock violation. They went on a 10 - 1 run and got the lead !! THEN ...... THAT THREE !! I DESPISE GONZAGA !!

Pry woulda won if their Defensive Star didn't get injured. 😞

Down 2 starters just was too much to try and get a win.Looked like the Bruins just ran out of energy late in the 2nd half!!!!!!!.!And could not hit the many open shots that the had!!!!!!!!!.

UCLA is always full of excuses. Maybe Cronin can actually recruit some guys that aren't physically as fragile as fine china. Constant injuries that are beyond bad luck. This is a pattern for years at UCLA. Maybe need to look at the training staff too.

Can someone answer this for me why is it each time Gonzaga in recent years beats UCLA then the next game in the tourney they lose pretty handily? Do they not understand its about winning a title? OR is it they have nothing to play for e.g. Defeating UCLA is their championship?
