I usually hate reaction channels, but the fact that you put that disclaimer pretty much begging us to check out the original creator instead of just putting the link buried way down in the description box where no one will ever find it, and the fact that you actually fucking REACT to the video (like pausing the video to discuss what's going on, i really like that) makes you guys one of the best reaction channels along with h3h3. Keep it up, you've earned a new sub :)

4kids censored the violence of the original Japanese series. They cut it so that you only see the aftermath of the hit. In other words 4KIDS IS THE WORST. Which is also why LK keeps poking fun at them.

In the original manga, Kaiba holds Joey's key and contemplates letting him drown, before going fuck it and dropping the key into the water.

He got better...but manga Kaiba did try to have Yugi and his friends brutally murdered in many ways early on. Joey never did forgive Kaiba for Death-T.

Mewzard Yeah,that's why I said after Duelist Kingdom. He tried to kill them during Death-T, got the bad part of his soul destroyed, and then after Yugi saved Mokuba and him from Pegasus, Kaiba was generally nicer to them, though he does still want to defeat Yugi in a duel above all else. Plus, Kaiba even says during this duel "Making two friends kill each otehr, that's something I wouldnt do,even at my worst"

The fact that he said that made me laugh. I was like "Dude, you armed world class assassins with laser guns, had your butler strap the gang into electric chairs turned on by sound, had a guillotine set to cut off their hands, hired the Domino City equivalent of Leatherface to hide in a haunted mansion to kill Yugi and co, nearly murdered them with a lifesized game of Tetris, and had two games where losing would mean you'd be driven insane by the illusion of being murdered by monsters (which was what gave Grandpa Mutou a functional heart attack at the start). You totally would have done that back then."

I watched the English-Subbed Japanese version of Episode 78, and Kaiba's first thought upon everyone being safe and sound? "(Joey) didn't have time to grab his own key because taking his duel disk off was more important, what an idiot. He's almost at the level of an average duelist." He was probably just ticked because someone dying at his tournament is just begging for a lawsuit lol.

Samuel L. Jackson's character in that is probably his best role, not counting Mace Windu in the Star Wars Prequels, Hondo in S.W.A.T., or Zeus in Die Hard with a Vengeance. I don't give a damn what Nick Fury fan boys say!

7:23 they most likely did show the fighting in the japanese version. usually it ends up being tristian or joey doing the fighting. 4kids censors all the fighting. if 4kids dubbed season 0, more than half the season would be censored. probably cause of yami killing, hurting, or torturing the loser of the shadow game he plays with them

Episode 78 of Yu-Gi-Oh was just so fucking heartwarming (especially in the Japanese version) that even Little Kuriboh had trouble making fun of it, hence why it was more sappy than usual YGOTAS episodes.
