Let's all understand one thing... "X-Men '97 is no f---kin' joke! Don't come in here if you're not ready and, please set your faces to "stunned". Make no mistake, it's on and popping' in this one. Happy 4/20 everybody!! Enjoy!🙏🏾✌🏾
*I've never been more certain that a cartoon episode deserves an award!* *Damn this show completely kicked the crap out of my 'mid' expectations. So good!*
I think everyone - while watching this the first time - realized around the same time that they were watching a historic moment. A "where were you when" moment. Fifty years from now this'll still be one of the cornerstones of animated storytelling.
All can I said I should have brought my tissue box in the first place in this episode. No, seriously. That's said, the voice actors and actress did excellent jobs with Rogue, Gambit, Magneto, and others in this episode.
Whoever made this mash up is a goat. Also this is a testimont to what good Disney or whatever powers that be, can accomplish. Get it right, keep it right
It’s worth noting Rogue’s VA, Lenore Zann, lost her teenage niece to cancer just a few weeks before recording the lines for this episode To say it tore open very fresh wounds would be an understatement
kurt normally goes exactly where he needs to be at all times but if you notice he bamfs like a rabbit here.. which basically means he was quickly rabbiting everywhere as fast as he could saving anyone he could franticly ... that breaks my fkn heart
@@Dracobyte Hopefully we'll see all characters title cards on the opening in the finale. And see Storm with Pryde of the X-Men outfit title card on the opening as well.😃 And don't look at her you know what.😠
I know we all hurt for Gambit, but to me, seeing Leech clinging to Magneto and looking so scared totally broke me 😭😭😭. I'm gonna sue Marvel and have them pay for my therapy bill, lol. Also hoping Leech blocked Magnetos powers and that's why the sentinel thought it was exterminated. Thanks for your amazing mash up
They got rid of the wrong character lol I know why but let me say it “Why couldn’t it have been Humberto when they created the story not my gambit!”We don’t need Humberto. We love Gambit.
"Mr. Incredible Becoming Uncanny" would be ideal meme to describe my reaction for this episode. It starts with cutesy "behind the scenes" mockumentary at X-Mansion and fan service galore in Genosha. Then relationship and politics drama starts appearing. Then I see Watcher in the sky and realize something bad is going to happen. Then Marvel Animation present their version of Red Wedding with pinch of Sept of Baelor Explosion. And then for the good measure writers double tap me with the line that already made teary in WandaVision.
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE! okay, incoming epistle: 1). thank you for this. group reactions are like group therapy; we all here for the joy and pain. 2). i never wanted an entire bottle of wine as much as when i watched this episode. 3). re: RogueNeto's kiss - i think it had to be public; it's coronation time, they had to touch dance and kiss - with everyone present. finally, can we stop and recognise that all this happened in 30 mins of animation. this, THIS is blessed! it's so good. so many levels. so may personal feelings. [also, i really think this is a canon event; no matter how many times Cable comes back, he won't be able to stop it]
Both Invisible and X Men 97 alongside FX's Shogun are equality good with handle emotional stake with their character's journeys which I'm invested than Madame Web film (please don't come attack me is more to doing with the storytelling issue in MW) and some live film based on compelling narrative, fighting choreography, and character's backstories. Well, there's rumour that one of the showrunners mentioned that 8 - 10 episodes are going to be more tragic and emotionally. Looking forward to the next episodes alongside the tissue box.
Sometimes I think I'm the only person who's always hated Gambit. And while this show made me the closest to ever tolerating him, I still breathed a sigh of relief when he died.
