If not of the decision of WB, we would’ve had a New Gods movie where see the eternal struggle between High Father’s New Genesis and Darkseid’s Apokolips.
Darkseid is one of my favorite DC comic villains of all time! I wish we have more of this version since he much more menacing than MCU’s Thanos. The Lord of Apokolips will stop at nothing until he controls all beings throughout the multiverse with the Anti-Life Equation.
@@Objective_Piece8285 I'm with you. I can't ever forgive or forget what WB did. Zack Snyder was just getting started with a brilliant DC universe and WB ruined it.
He was going to be in ZSJL 2 & 3. There was a plan in place to bring the whole DC universe in the next 2 movies that Zack intended to fight Darkseid and his entourage. ( all the Parademons/female furries) Zack Snyder was going for a 'Lord of the Rings' type trilogy in which all 3 justice league movies would be very long. (ZSJL being the case in point) The final battle in ZSJL 3 was gonna be Superman vs Darkseid and the whole armies/justice league members of the world uniting with Superman to save earth from Darkseid. Remember the speech Jor El gave to Kal El in MOS: "You will give the people on earth an idea to strive towards, they will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall, but in time, they will join you in the sun, in time, you will help them accomplish wonders" That's referencing the entire journey Superman was gonna go through in the DCEU from Zack Snyder's perspective. Blame WB for their absolute mess up of what would of been a DC heaven journey.
@@ZombieN8YT In order for that to happen I think James Gunn's Superman movie needs to fail. (I hope it does too as they treated Zack so badly) WB are just trying to recreate the DCEU again but without Zack Snyder thinking it's gonna be better in which I highly doubt!
Absolutely agree with you. You know where the problem lies however. While marvel gets Thanos right, DC did nothing to show Darkseids power until Snyder intervened. Casual fans had no idea. How pathetic was it... Joss Whedon didn't even include him in the movie?!?! Still can't believe how badly Whedon missed the mark. Cheers mate!
@@emperordavid2044Exactly. People oversimplify Darkseid in this movie, just because he took an L from Zeus and Ares, but he just killed a Green Lantern and this is Darkseid 5,000 years younger. You can't say that about Thanos. I would like to see a similar scenario where a younger Thanos is fighting Zeus and Ares, and then kill a Nova Corps member. Even younger Darkseid looks more OP then older Thanos.
@@stevennieves7611forget Nova Corps member, how about take on the actual Nova after the Zeus Ares. But also, they portrayed Green Lantern really bad in this movie. Like he’s trying to hit Darkside with a beam instead of creating some kind of protective barrier and than going after him.
@@NikoStark1 Yeah, Nova alone can fight Thanos, but only for a short time. He is a member of the Infinity Watch, but he's probably their weakest member. Yeah, Green Lantern was portrayed as not that smart in this movie. If that's any other Lantern such as Jordan, Scott, Rayner, Stewart, or Gardener, they would have lived. I don't even know the name of this alien creature that is a Lantern in this movie.
That dude said "gotta be the greatest superhero movie ever"...🤦♂️ Thanks to all the random people who brought about the Snyder cut, because Joss Whedon made a big budget shit show.
