The fact he didn't even ignite his saber was him showing her complete lack of respect, like "you're not even worthy to be struck down by my lightsaber" that's so Vader
No the reason he didn’t ignite his saber was because he was remembering and using the lesson that kenobi taught him on Coruscant, [there are other ways of fighting without a weapon]
@@MMA_INF Actually, neither of you are right, the real reason he didn’t use his saber was because he wanted to remind her that she was still that weak and pathetic youngling she was and still is to this day, basically saying that she was nothing to any of the inquisitors and that she was too weak to even get a correct slash at vader without him dodging.
She just saw a man, with *minimal* effort, *repo a spaceship mid-flight in under 60 seconds single-handedly* and she was like _"Yeah, _*_I_*_ can fuck with _*_that,_*_ easy."_
The fact that Vader called her „Youngling“ is really dark. That means he knew all along she was not dead all these years back, only to then stab her the same way he did all these years ago.
Her whole character was used from the very beginning. They knew the anger and hate and used that to hunt down all of these Jedi. Until they finally got Obi-wan out of hiding and she was pretty much used up by then. She never stood a chance, and was used as a blood hound. I think she was pretty dumb, but also, the definition of what Obi-wan said, “Your hate blinds you.”
This Scene made me love Darth Vader Way much more that was so Badass he did like some kung fu Force powers and didn’t even need a freaking light saber. This might be the best episode so far at least
Yeah you love it more because just like the haters and racist weeks ago ya'll thought that the black girl was stealing the show. Wait till you see what they will to to kenobi
Hey, Reva is braver than most. Who would even think to take a swing at Vader? Let's be real 😂 just no match for him, simple as. The choreography along with the score during this fight is pure fire. Loved seeing how powerful Vader truly is in this episode!
Lucas said Vader is 80% of Palpatine's full power and would have been 200% of it if he didn't fall to Kenobi. I love how they have been showing just how dominating he truly is.
Palpatine even said it to Yoda in ROTS, “ Vader would become more powerful than both him and Yoda!” One could surmise that even Palpatine feared Anakin.
The way he fought….well let’s face it, Reeva was fighting, Vader was just toying with her and breaking her spirit. He never even used his own lightsaber against her, like she wasn’t even worthy of it.
Maaaaan, I used to think the Inquisitors' "spin-saber" weapons used to be one of the most intimidating things... yet Vader made it seem like a childs' plaything. :c
As I saw rouge one I knew Vader’s power is beyond anyone ones level and in the kenobi series just shows everything about Vader Hayden is just enjoying this and I’m happy for him
The fact Vader knew who she was the whole time and still trained her in the Darkside and used her to hunt other Jedi down(though we saw with the first Jedi she COULD have killed him but didn't). Speaks volumes. He knew one day she'd try to kill him but wasn't worried about it and that they may as well utilize her for as long as they could till that point. Just, wow. And yet still, rather than kill her, he wounds her the same way so that she has to live with her failure *twice* . Those are some levels to Anakin's way of being. Or maybe he just understands wanting to take revenge for the things you've lost.
When she tries to cheap shot him and he slowly turns to face her while holding her strike back with the force: "it was in this moment she knew, she done fucked up" 🤣
We were all like, *"Reva, don't be stupid!"* Darth Vader is not the one to play with. His movements during the fight were insane to watch. Say what you will about the current Disney run of Star Wars, but the depiction of Vader from Rogue One and this show has been *chef's kiss* Reva held her own, I'll give her that. Believe you me, if I read the script, and it says that I get to fight Darth Vader (even though I will lose), I'd be geeking out like Moses Ingram did. Also, who didn't believe that the Grand Inquisitor was still alive? We all saw that coming.
Vader's fighting style really has a great deal of Dooku's grace, precision and efficiency, he approached this fight as though it was a mere sparring match,Reva while certainly powerful but she lacks the control and the intelligence within combat to overcome Vader,if it's one thing she should have known is that he's had decades worth of experience and is most definitely not someone you can easily overpower or subvert with just raw power, aggression and complete lack of control 🤔
I've made this comment in a couple of other reaction videos... Reva missed her opportunity to kill Vader. Obi told her that Vader will be so focused on him. So when Vader was pulling back the decoy ship, he was totally focused on that and that was Reva's chance.
Obi Wan is my favorite character, i know he survives, i know he trained Anakin, i know he is very powerful, skilled and strong... Despite all that, after seeing this Vader i am very afraid for Obi Star Wars is the only saga where even tho you know a Character survives a fight, you are afraid...
i love that she starts to scream in rage and he pushes her away. its like hes saying you think your anger compares to mine. lets see what happens when a normal inquisitor fights one of the greatest duelists and force users ever.
HELLO THERE!!! Seeing Vader best Reva without even bothering to ignite his own lightsaber is the stuff of legend, he took the lesson that Obi Wan taught him all those years ago into effective use against her. She may not be dead instantly, but her mission is not yet finished. This scene is impressive, most impressive! Mixed Reactions has done it again in blessing our feeds on this Friday. I'm so ready for next week, the hype is unreal!
This fight reminds me so much of the scene from Clan of the White Lotus, where Pai Mei just toys with the martial artists. Mocking them without even having to defend himself.
Saw people that apparently didn't even saw the show complain how disney "ruined" Vaders lightsaber style, he is toying with her so much this doesn't even count as a warm up, he doesn't use his normal style because she is not worth it
Vader has been so badass in this show. He feels more powerful than he ever has. He just feels so beyond everyone in terms of power and it’s just so cool to watch. Best episode so far.
Why did Reva think that would be a great idea? Did she think for 2 more seconds who that was? That was Darth Vader a figure by this point in the timeline who's name was feared by the entire galaxy he killed not just the men but the women and children too
Of all terrifying things that exist in the Galaxy far far away, a sight of Lord Vader holding and pointing two lightsabers at you, must have been terrifying. Damn...
To me, Vader using Reva's own weapon against her is like those Chinese or Japanese sword masters who can defeat their opponents with a wooden stick or piece of bamboo. Vader is basically saying to Reva "you're not worth my time."
One thing I've always wondered. In the Universe of Star Wars, in order to use the Dark Side Force you need to use anger right? So, what if you're a true psychopath? As in, you can't feel _any_ emotions whatsoever? Does that mean you can't use the Force at all? Jedi or Dark Side? Or would that make you an even more powerful one because you can't be blinded by emotion?
Who the hell is saying she held her own? Anybody saying that are deluded. Vader was playing with her. Toying with her to show her just how far below his power level she truly is. If he had wanted he could have ended her in the first 2 seconds. She is only a dark side user of middling talent with barely youngling training under her belt. Vader is a freaking SITH LORD! He so damn far above her he literally has zero respect for her existence. Only 2 people in the galaxy at this time are more powerful then Vader, Darth Sidious his master and Emperor and Yoda. Yoda becomes questionable as time goes on and Sidious is only more powerful because of the maiming Vader took at the hands of Obi Wan.
Thank you Reva. You fighting Darth Vader/Anakin is the best scene of this entire series. You definitely get respect for trying to avenge the Younglings.
was expecting her to be killed more violently considering what we've seen from vader already would've gone with vader crossing the 2 sabers then using the force to propel reva forward into the path of the sabers and taking her head off
This episode here is the actual proof of why people need to shut the f... up and wait and see how a story progresses instead of jumping to conclusions straight away.....
The inquisitors were barely trained better than basic padawan learners, they were never given full training to become Sith due to the rule of two. While they were a terror against regular people even the Grand Inquisitor was considered barely a Novice against a fully trained Jedi/Sith like Vader. There was only one way this fight could have gone.
Qui-Gon was absolutely ready to join the Force. Just like Obi-Wan allows himself to get struck down, there is no willingness to cling to life, they accept that it's time to move on and join the Force. Darksiders on the other hand.... Well as the GI said, revenge does wonders for the will to live. After seeing Mail survive (yeah I know he's leagues above the inquisitors, but he was cut in half!) I'm honestly not to bothered by it, Vader and the GI could see her still alive but just left her there anyway because they don't give af, they could have offed her head if they wanted to do the job properly.
The grand inquisitor was dead because the show got leaked before it s premiere so they reshot scenes for the last few episodes this has all been confirmed by Disney in their leaked emails between Lucas film and Bob Chepek
