I noticed that too when classic loki said he doesn't use daggers. It seems like classic Loki had this realization even before Thor by himself. No wonder he's so strong.
I was screaming and I am a guy for the first time we get to see Loki true power not shit show we see in the Avengers film. I have not seen episode 6 yet but I thought I come here and check reaction video. That is the true power of Loki not just throwing knives
I have a theory. Old man loki was a hint of what loki becomes. "I was alone, for a LONG TIME" On the throne, holding the multiverse together and at some point, the multiverse came full circle to him returning and becoming the god of stories again. So old man loki and main loki are exactly the same person. Not a variant.
Re-creating Asgard I don’t think anyone can top that. Such glorious purpose I admit it the spelling checks are so stupid on RU-vid “Gloria’s” I got a good laugh thanks to you guys
Man, Classic Loki is such a legend. Dude went out with utmost style. He literally stared Death in the face and *laughed* as it took him. Such a badass.
@@lokineverdies7775 I think hes probably dead, but he already faked his death disguising as inanimate debris, couldve disguised himself as the helmet 🤣
Does anyone else think it weird that Alioth left the helmet? Also the Classic Loki said that he created an Illusion so real the Mad Titan believed it and he turned into debris. He was doing something with his magic before he supposedly sacrificed himself what if he did the same thing made a convincing duplicate and turned himself into his helmet?
From what I can see, alioth seems to only suck out the life from whatever it touches, as it left that whole battleship in ruins instead of completely removing it from existence
If that were true than why did an Illusion get tired, just let the sacrifice hold it's ground OK. Also when the gas creature ate a boat it judged didn't disappear
I always thought if I was in a situation where I KNEW I was about to die, but had one last moment to shout something bad ass, I definitely do it. My best idea was "WU TANG!" but now.... I'm seriously considering GLORIOUS PURPOSE!
You know how he explained that he faked his death with thanos by creating a projection so real that it even fooled the mad titan.? I think he might have done the same thing maybe.🧐 or he’s just dead and I’m thinking too much.
@ussss I’m taking about old Loki. Old Loki’s caused his nexus event because he faked his own death with thanos which is what he was supposed to die in, but he didn’t because of his illusion. Then he went on a planet, got lonely, the left and got caught by the tva
That’s what I’m thinking, hoping? I liked this guy especially being so old in his ways and choosing to change for that one moment. That last bit of glowing in his hands makes me hope as much, but the helmet being kind of scorched afterwards has me iffy, then again I’m not a mad titan so who knows. He IS a Loki so if he’s going to go out it’s gonna be flashy as we saw, but maybe it’s also a play at a little betrayal. He’s actually still alive but choosing to fool those two Loki’s one last time, show the upstarts how an old Loki does good but still keeps it Loki. Either way fantastic exit performances from Owen and Richard.
@@tiredtalker42069 Nah, Classic Loki’s fake death wasn’t a nexus event cause he was still never gonna be seen ever again since he became isolated on a planet. When he decided to go back to earth, that’s when his Nexus Event was caused since he was supposed to be seen as dead and not be able to interact with anyone anymore.
Classic found a genuine glorious purpose, sacrifice for a greater good to save others, and going out on a true high, after years of hiding. In the end he changed and embraced that change , just like Loki has with Sylvie. Will Kid be given the chance to change?
@@TheNativeEngine if they are going Young Avengers, Loki should be dropping Kid off with Thor in the MCU. We can only hope Croki goes with him. Loki would feel it a fine jape to drop a teenage version of himself off on his brother, making him a single dad, at the same time giving Kid a chance to redeem himself, with the brother he killed. Given the way Frost Giants age, Loki’s teenage years may last a couple of centuries. Thor finding Croki in his bath should also be a thing. And Thor screaming like a little girl at it. The group who discovered Loki all have potential for redemption, except Boastful. Wiccan should be able to communicate with Croki based upon his powers in Wandavision
Classic Loki easily carried this entire episode, kid loki was certainly all talk and no substance even when other lokis raided their base and during the big boss fight nothing.
@@watersheep7175 And your point is? The whole episode he did nothing to back up that claim. He is a Loki so he could full well be lying. Even if he isn't he was useless the whole episode other than handing over a flaming sword which was also useless. Classic Loki pulled through and showed his power what did kid loki do other than say he killed Thor. Btw it would be kid Thor not full grown full power Thor.
I think him being old in this scene is what held him back, but it granted him much more wisdom and knowledge than any other Loki ever. He stated earlier that he never used weapons because it was a crutch and their true strength lied in sorcery. I like to put out though that it looks like he never learned enchantment and maybe conjugation as all he knows is illusions and teleportation. Tom Hiddleston Loki is Loki prime and he is the closer now than most of them especially after learning enchantment that he can do anything any other Loki can and more. Teleportation, Conjuration, Enchantment, Illusions the sky’s the limit
It only took him this long to become as powerful as classic Loki was because there were no other Lokis around to share knowledge and wisdom with YOUNGER classic Loki. So by this logic, because classic Loki shared his wisdom and knowledge with Sylvie and Loki, they can probably become as powerful or equally at their younger age.....if they never knew they had the potential, then I guess there was no reason to try....on a side note, I was wondering if Loki feels so alone in life (even though he isn't) because he is such an intelligent person, and from my experience being around a few really intelligent people, they feel very lonely....the type of "sort of" intelligent people I really can't stand are those of the narcissistic type. I know a guy who is pretty smart, but thinks he knows everything about any subject that gets discussed, however, it really pisses him off when he is told he is wrong (even a really innocent call out on facts, for me it's ok because being wrong is a very vital stepping stone to acquiring knowledge), and if you know something he doesn't and you correct him on his oblique definition of a concept or malapropism and you don't get a thank you or a request to elaborate on why he is wrong about something, he just insists that you are wrong and tries to justify it by trying to make an argument that in terms of the context in how you think s word or concept is applied, was the reason for you being wrong, but then later on if the subject comes up again he uses it in the same way you corrected him on. I e always been a really uncertain kind of person, always questioning whether or not I know enough of anything on any subject to be engaging in debate on it, even if I've studied it intensely, and I notice that that's a common theme among a lot of intelligent people, so it always seems to baffle me that for a very intelligent person, my friend seems to be very certain about everything he thinks he knows. And I really think it's because when someone corrects him or has more knowledge on a subject then he does, he just doesn't acknowledge it and wipes it from memory, but magnifies is his WINS to reinforce his narcissistic pride in himself and his intelligence. This was a very huge 90 degree segue off the marvel topic, but only because I justness got into an argument with him over the correct neuroanatomy of a structure that he was very insistent on knowing more then me. He specifically said "the part that connects the two halves of the brain" and he kept calling it the thalamus, and I was certain enough to say that it was really called the corpus callosum....after he looked it up, he changed his argument and said, "I'm right, I think you misinterpreted what I was saying because I was talking about the part that people commonly refer to as the brainwithin the brain that sits in the center of both hemispheres which IS the thalamus. Ugh he is so damn frustrating sometimes.
Not gonna lie, after final fight in endgame this scene really make me goosebumps. This is best scene, best series, best sacrifice, best GLORIOUS PURPOSE 100%
I think Loki laughed because in fulfilling his "glorious purpose" to save his variants, even though he died, he still won. That's just such a Loki thing to do.
Classic Loki might still be alive. His hands were glowing green right before he shouted "Glorious Purpose!". He could have turned himself into his helmet.
Absolute joy watching these obvious fan realize that Classic Loki was creating an illusion if Asgard. The excitement. The realization that it was most likely a sacrificial movement. Absolutely brilliant. Adore this show
I think old Loki will have he's own series in marvel because of the last power he show before he sacrifice herself maybe he got teleported somewhere in the end of time or somewhere
Classic loki entrance in this series has the potential to be the best entrance in the entire superhero genere... and yes for me it was way better than thor's wakanda entrance....
The sad part is that old loki could create a whole asgard probably because of his isolation and just wanting to see his home again and he did one last time
Classic Loki is not dead . Remember he created an image of himself even the mad titan was fooled . And he was doing something at the end with his hands right before yelling glorious purpose.
