I believe Angela Bassett will give the greatest performance the MCU has ever seen. "I am queen of the most powerful nation in the world, and my entire family is gone. Have I not given everything?" That line alone has sold me on this entire film. She's going to absolutely bring it in my "Opinion"
Perfectly stated. A powerhouse of emotion and stellar acting. Can’t wait to see the movie. Damon also makes a solid case for what it could be from. Totally in on that idea.
@@CkyRainBeforeFall So does this mean this movie takes place right after Infinity War? Because it'd make more sense if it did. The Celestial Tiamat nearly splitting the Earth in two in the Eternals movie shoulda caused Namor to go absolutely insane because the amount of destruction underwater that must have caused not to mention earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tidalwaves, tsunami's, hurricanes, pretty much almost every natural disaster you can think of should have happened when that thing was coming out of the Earth's core. So (supposedly rumored); one man made earthquake from some underwater research tests which Namor blames Wakanda for shouldnt be the one thing that finally drives him to the surface when Tiamat had to have done way more damage. Not to mention, when Thanos did the Snap, Namor lost half his civilization and he has no idea who Thanos is, so wouldnt that have also givern him motivation to come to the surface? And then he finds out there was some battle on Wakanda? (Infinity War) so he gets heated and blames them for it? And then this way you can show a funeral for T'Challa since they actually did both die after Infinity War (along wiht half the population of Wakanda); instead of making a story that T'Challa dies twice. And then make it that Shuri actually didnt die from the Snap just was presumed to be missing and she shows up later Then fast forward to the present time and thats where Riri comes in and helps Shuri recreate the herb needed to become the black Panther; Shuri temporarily holds the mantle (like in the comics). and fights Namor. Also as New Rockstars pointed out: Wakanda is a land locked country with only the Nile River leading to it which opens out to the Mediterranean Sea. So unless Namor goes full psycho and brings all the water from the Medeterranean Sea onto Wakanda from the Egyptian shoreline (which would then kill most Egyptians, Ugandans, Rwanda, Ethiopia), New Rockstars' theory of Namor being able to use any body of water as a dimensional gateway portal would make more sense and less casualities of war. Like he can just show up at the end of the Nile River near Wakanda and with his powers, flood Wakanda even though its over 1000 feet above sea level. Also lets not forget Atuma is in this movie: Attuma is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is an Atlantean nomadic warlord who is usually depicted as an enemy of Namor the Sub-Mariner, and is the father of the superhero Andromeda. He believes he is the prophesied conqueror of the Atlantean Empire. So the battle could actually be Atuma fighting Wakanda and Namor actually helps Wakanda out once he learns the truth. So showing Namor in the trailer can be a misdirect to make us think he's the villain. and then Doom is mentioned in the after credits
“In my culture, death is not the end. It’s more of a stepping off point. You reach out with both hands and Bast and Sekhmet, they lead you into a green veld where you can run forever.” - The King T'challa That's why the wakandans are celebrating.
I shed tears of both grief and sadness but also pride and strength. I maybe from another nation and of different culture, but from a brother to another, I stand for the unity and spirit of Wakanda. Chadwick/ T'Challa/ Black Panther, you have my thanks and my respect for you. I'm proud to forever stand by your side and your nation. WAKANDA FOREVER
Yup! Everyone think it’s shuri but I think it’s going to be Angela Basset for a small portion, because she’s the General of the Army, and I think she’ll give it Shuri. I know Shuri becomes the panther in the comics but I think they’re throwing everyone off because everyone expects it to be her
It hits different when you lose a character and the person at the same time. For these stars, it's not acting anymore because they really did lose the person.
Angela Bassett’s performance gave me goosebumps. I always get chills seeing Wakanda Forever trailer. It’s going to be emotionally exciting. This will clearly pay homage to Chadwick Boseman, whom I wish was still here to make more movies. I can’t wait to see Namor and possibility Doctor Doom too. Emotionally I’m ready, but I’m NOT ready. Rest easy King Chadwick. You are dearly missed🥺🥺😭🙅🏾♂️🖤💜💛
Seeing this trailer gives me so emotional 😭 about the loss of Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa). It really hurts my feelings and my sad reaction 😔. RIP Chadwick Boseman. We would never forget you. Wakanda Forever! ✊✊
@@samuelclark1677 - it could also be that she just thinks Shuri is dead, when she's on a journey to the ancestral plane, or trying to find a way to recreate the heart shaped herb.
I tear up every time I see this trailer and when I watch reactors reactions. I hope you are also going to do a mixed reactions for the tease we got at the end of She-Hulk.
Damn, Man! This song Absolutely fraking hits, gets you Hyped and right in the feels at the same time R.I.P Chadwick Boseman 🙏🙏🙏🙏 You better believe that I'm gonna go watch this
Now that’s how you do a trailer! I think Angela Basset will play Black Panther and hand it over to Shuri. I know in the comics shuri become panther but remember the Queen is the General
Angela Bassett moved evrythg in my spirit wit those lines.. whoever composed this trailer.. thank u. NEVER hv I EVER been so emotionally charged to see a movie. Brought tears to my eyes. Hope they really did Chad good.
I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO ALL THE POWERFUL WOMAN IN THIS MOVIE YOU LADIES ALL DESERVE AN AWARD YOU LADIES JUST PROVED HOW STRONG WE CAN BE TO STAND UP FOR OURSELVES,OUR NATION AND FOR OUR OWN PEOPLE NO MATTER WHAT RACE YOU COME FROM, THIS MOVIE IS PHENOMENAL CONGRATS AND THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤️
The combo of the whales singing like horns on the pinnicle of the emotional highlights ....and the cross sound with the track is just incredible this was a lost art ....very very Great and well though out Hope it makes it to the ost ... When Hans did dark knight it was the nokia trailer that made that movie as far as sound .... This is next level teaser ....one of the best put together of all time ....it has everything ..so love it much Cant wait
Just have this thing in my mind, thinking if Chadwick still alive.. and in the Avengers franchise as we know Ironman's gone and Capt. has retired... T'Challa and Falcon becomes the new Avengers leader..
The Movie Hiding Behind This Trailer.,, IS TAKING ALL of The Awards… Starting with the Score. Mark My Words. Phenomenal Trailer. Such a beautiful Reactions… Can’t wait. WAKANDA FOREVER BITCHES… 😂🥹🥹🥹
Black Panther Wakanda Forever will close out Phase Four of the MCU. This will be the most emotional and exciting Marvel Film of all time. The Emotions for this can't be discribed or explained.
me watching the trailer on the loop, I'm seeing something. when Kendrick ends the trailer with "when I wake up". Whose waking up? who was sleep? Killmonger was 'sleep". I'll just leave that here.
The emotional impact this trailer alone delivered is outstanding, from the music and that bone chilling scene of Angela Bassett. What made it this teaser so powerful was the absence of the titular Black Panther. This film will lay tribute to our one and only King.
Listen hear me out.. Shuri will be the black panther.. however when I heard the music say “but when I wake up”I think shuri might bring michael b Jordan back to life to be the new black panther
I think we collectively moved on from the rawest line ever spoken in the mcu aka "Bury your dead. Mourn your losses. You are queen now." by Namor OOO that turned my veins ICE COLD when I heard it 🥶🥶
I have a theory. So we all know about Chadwick at this point, so what if instead of starting the story off with T'Challa already deceased, they have a stand-in of him (respectfully of course) and what if they decide to start the movie off with Namor attacking Wakanda. For whatever reason, T'Challa decided not to wear his Panther chain, so when they are attacked, Namor kills him in the beginning, thus leading to the funeral scene and then, they begin the credits.
they won't do that. if that's the case, the whole internet is gonna go after that "stand in," forcefully getting to know him. that's not ideal :( i think they'll just say something like, T'Challa died because of an incurable disease (like cancer, which would just hit home HARD)
@@dealuxe_7545 Nah the cancer thing is way too close to what he actually died from and I think that would piss people off instead of hitting the feels.
@@cheapPixel yeah he was an anti hero. It would make people hate him for sure. However, if Marvel plays their cards right and does have them kill him, they can make him redeemable from a somber backstory. Like looking at the trailer, we can see Namor watched a village burn, maybe a land tribe of his, when he was a kid and it’s seeming like Wakanda was responsible for it. So if they do him correctly they can make another Kilmonger.
It's Nakita or Killmonger it's not Shuri because she's skinny like really really skinny no way she could get that size. I feel like it's Killmonger for 2 reasons one that booty looks male and the gold accents on the suit same as Killmongers in BP1
The creation of the character Riri Williams aka Ironheart in 2016 is still the most hilarious thing to me. Because it means someone at Marvel Comics was looking at Japanese Marvel parody porn in 2014 🤣
I think M'Baku should be the new Black Panther but i think that's Shuri as Black Panther which is cool also. Amazing Trailer that looks Visually Stunning and a Great Tribute to a Great Actor and Man RIP Chadwick Boseman. I'm hyped and hope for John David Washington as T'Challa/Black Panther in the post credit scene showing that he faked his death for Wakanda's safety. #RecastTChalla
This movie will be Epic Killmonger gave us clues when TChalla killed him.....bury me in tbe sea...and the song be alright ..at the end of the song .and when i wake up. That body is too big for Shuri. She is very petite. Why is Michael B Jordan so quiet and he is not mentioned at all..secrecy. it is known in the comic shuri became black panther but i the ryan coogler put a twist to this one. Its not what most will expect. My view!! .
We all want it to be Shuri but Marvel knows how to disappoint, excite, surprise, and mind fuck lol Im done guessing, just waiting for fandango to take my money at this point.
A heartbreaking tribute to the Chadwick legacy that has now begun. And honestly, the music, the cinematography, and the actors have made me feel very excited to do this for his great friend...he would be very proud and I know it's hard not to see him anymore, but we have to continue in his memory. And now knowing that shuri will be the new black panther.🙏👍❤❤
Ryan had to go to his friends, who lost their friend and tell them to act like they lost their family, their real family. Bringing all the grief out of your cast and expecting them to stay solid through it all, you have to be so comfortable and connected to your director to trust him to push you that far. He has to have such perfect vision of the end piece. I'll be there Friday Morning, IMAX, in white.
So true. The bond/trust that they share and experience while shooting the film must be insane. It'd be amazing if ppl showed up in white to show support, although I hope it wouldn't be misinterpreted as a meme trend.
@@bryannguyen2383 I don't think it would be misinterpreted that way. Judging by emotions that JUST A TEASER elicited from not just the black community, but many, many MCU fans, and myself as well. This movie is going to be special. I too will be wearing white to opening night. RIP Chadwick ✊🏾
@@emma6648 - because in many cultures, (and as shown in the trailer for Wakanda) white is a funerary, memorial color. It's like you always see black clothing at most western funerals.
The panel at Comic-con was amazing. There were African dancers and drummers on stage. It was an emotional tribute to Chadwick for sure. The whole cast hugged after.
