Interesting. Some of them just feel sick because eating live Octopus is disgusting. But some of them actually understand that this is mental torture for someone like Deep who is able to understand what sea creatures are saying.

There are two important facts happening here most people don't seem to realize: 1) Casandra likes it because she was jealous of Timothy because the Deep fantasizes about him while he bangs her. She obviously noticed at some point. 2) Much like he did with Starlight, the Deep had to choose to put something in his mouth that he didn't want to in order to join the Seven.

The fact that The Deep can hear everything we cannot, is terrifying. Timothy is screaming out in pain and agony and even praying. Meanwhile Deep HAS to eat his friend whilst hearing it.

This is pure karma for The Deep, the fact that they make him eat Timothy so he can get back into The Seven Similar to how that woman put her hands into his gills. That's his karma for what he did to Starlight and God knows how many other women he made feel uncomfortable. But yeah, that was disgusting when he ate Timothy.
