I also put all of my unread books in a TBR jar, excluding any books for year-long reading challenges. It has been fun pulling books and knowing I have to read it. I have already DNF'd two of my pulls and read two. I think it will force me to pick up books I never reach for.

Fun project! I love a bit of bossy randomness in my tbr.Good luck with this project. I look forward to the next one. I have more Joanna Goodman on my shelves. I read that one first too and whooboy. The nurse in it was such a horrible villain!

I like this idea of drawing blindly from a jar for a week. May have to use this idea to help me decide which book to read at the beginning or end of the month since I feel like those times are hard for me to pick which book to choose on my tbr.

lol I love love island 😊 don’t apologize for not reading instead of watching! Sometimes we all need some trashy tv 🤪 also love your point on how u need real advice/comfort from people instead of them talking about running expensive companies, like some of us aren’t wanting to do that! And your kids are adorable, made me smile :)

Sometimes trashy tv is just perfect 😂 and yes, I just finished What I Know Now and was a bit disappointed. The concept is neat, but all of the women were not what I will ever be. And thanks 😊 I think they’re pretty cute too!

I'm so glad I was born where and when I was. I was pregnant at 16 and was lucky to have the support from my family. I'm now 42 and my boy has his own girls.

I did read that book Home for Unwanted Girls, felt like yesterday when I read it, but looking it up I read it in 2021 I gave it 5 stars. Couldn't believe how those nuns acted in the story. Pure evil.

Glad you liked that book! I gave it to you so long ago! The author is a good storyteller, and the truth in the story was pretty disgusting. What is the other Joanna Goodman book I gave you? And no, I don’t want any books back! Pay them forward if you don’t want to keep them😊
