Jack, I don't know if you know about the whole "sprint reading" thing. It has become a trend on brazilian booktube and I love it. Basically the streamer sets up a 30-45 min timer and everyone reads together during that time. After that, we talk and discuss what we're reading for 15 min and then back to another 'sprint'.

This is such a sweet video idea! I have an anxiety disorder and sometimes struggle to get in the reading mindset. This helps

I click in just to make sure Jake’s reading at an average speed as everyone else. Just because he can read so many books every year, I used to think he just reads much faster than normal person (ie me).

Hello Jack. Your thoughtful warnings on "A Little Life" and your reading vlog compelled me to start the book. Was able to enjoy it from the get go but stopped at 13% (Kindle). Still at Lispenard Street chapter when Willem brought Jude to Andy before the party. I love the characters so so much and my heart breaks for Jude. I will read again and finish the book in a happier season. Continue to inspire us to read!

Jack, you motivated me to read for 21 minutes and 48 seconds more than I planned to tonight. The book I am reading is called, "To Sir, With Love" and is written by a man named E.R Braithwaite. It is not a long book, but the autobiography tells of England in the decades after WW2 with the racism, and focuses on a school in the East End. I have dyslexia, and although I adore English Lit. and like books a lot, it takes a lot of concentration to read words!

that helped me so much! I always watch TV after work and that made it feel super doable. I don't have to save reading for weekends! Smaller sessions can be more manageable

Due to covid I have not been able to go to my favorite spot to read (Its a little library/ bookstore type place) and I missed having people around me also reading and enjoying books. So thank you jack for this video, it felt like I was back at my small nook. :)
