The funny story paperback size (trade paperback) is what we get in Australia too. We rarely get hardbacks and any new release is that large pb size first in the same way the UK gets hardbacks :)

I live quite close to an airport and I have been known to pop up there on the bus to go to the smiths (before you go through security) to get the airport paperbacks! Fourth wing and iron flame I’m looking at you 😂
