AFAIK, the version I played didn't have the opening graphics seen at 0:34, nor did it play the Adapt identity. Instead, a full one minute sequence played back, complete with this music: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZGwHKrhucNY.html (You'll have to wait a bit to hear the music.)
It's actually kinda funny that the Circus of Numbers is just a slightly modified version of Reader Rabbit's Math 1, down to the sounds and assets. They only added POP and transitions to new content.
The Math Racer activity had to be my favorite activity because the desert location looked a lot like Arizona, and I have traveled to Arizona several times. The autumn setting looked a lot like Vermont. It looked like kids could go on a road trip across the USA just to solve math problems (if you know what I mean).
For any of those wondering about the car game for the thought of what happens if you do not win, this is what happens: If the player gets five answers incorrect, the gauge on the fuel section above the steering wheel will land on the red "E". Reader will then present the correct answer, then after the correct answer is shown, the car will start to slow down and the engine noise will start to sputter and die down and stop. A gray airbag will pop out of the horn in the steering wheel with the words "GAME OVER" in black, then will disappear back into the steering wheel. The screen where you see the road will cut to pitch black, then Reader will give his following dialogue to the player: "Sorry, you ran out of gas. To win a ticket, you need to answer five problems correctly before you run out of gas. I'll fill up the tank, and you can get started again."
The gauge will land on the E when the player gets 5 answers incorrect. The car won’t sputter and die right away until after the correct answer is shown. After seeing the correct answer the player should have honked at, that’s when the car noises start to sputter and slowly die down, then the movement on the road will come to a stop. The rest of what happens is described in my first comment.
@Porcupine when the movement on the road stops, first the engine noise will die down, then a second of silence. Then a gray airbag with the black words “GAME OVER” will pop out of the horn on the steering wheel. After 3 seconds, the airbag will suction back into the steering wheel with a hissing sound. Then the screen displaying the road/sky will cut to pitch black, and Reader will say his dialogue to the player: “Sorry, you ran out of gas. To win a ticket, you need to answer 5 problems correctly before you run out of gas. I’ll fill up the tank and you can get started again.” Then from there, you start over with the gauge back on the green F.
@@jd2bkool851 I do not wish to upload it publicly to RU-vid but I can send you a private email to your email address with the video of what happens if you don't win the car game. I have it with me.
Same the copy I had, had like a jingle in the beginning I don't really remember the lyrics but they were catchy....but at the end of the jingle it was like "Come along with Reader Rabbit"

That can be such a hilarious sound, but that sound may scare the shit out of the young players, especially if they weren’t expecting to hear that noise or they felt embarrassed because they got the answer wrong.
