Hahaha fighting and then kissing really does happen!!! It is just frustration which leads to kissing (best way I can kind of describe it is like hangry - hungry angry and the first piece of food). It definitely is a toxic trait in relationships and I think it’s just a way to illustrate that. Definitely was something in my only toxic relationship (lucky for me, I’m happily married now to the love of my life)
Okay, but the urge to watch you read instead of finish the beast of a book I'm trying to get through is too strong (House of Sky and Breath, gah!). I also find it so interesting what tropes people are into because I LOVE grumpy sunshine 🌞🌩

I’m a pretty slow reader but I consumed the entire shatter me series in probably less then a week! I only read 1 novella (the last one lol it’s so cute so defs do it!) but that is insane for me. I feel the exact same way about it! It’s my druggggg

2X speed?! I usually listen "normal" speed(1.15 at the most)... When I'm with my friend and he's listening to audiobooks, he also has them at a higher speed and it just sounds like Alvin the Chipmunk sped up 😂 I felt EXACTLY the same way as you about Well Met... I didn't continue the series
I listen to 1.5x speed and people think I’m crazy lol. I pronounce renaissance like this: Ren-a-sance. The last part is like dance but with a S if that makes any sense lol. It’s a soft C sounds.

LOL-when you are talking about books in a serires that do not have a happy ending and leave you on a cliff hanger...all I could think was book 2 of the Prison Healer trilogy...its a breaker of a time
The anger to kissing scene reminds me of Jane Austin's P & P ... where Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth are arguing and he leans towards her and he is going to kiss her...its like a fine line between love and hate? If I'm upset, don't you dare.
