It's kind of shocking to me that this is a successful platform for storytelling. I guess the whole text-message based stories makes sense--that's kind of a cool idea in itself--but MAN the execution and the stories themselves...? I think they let just about any story in without even reviewing it. And then tons of people read it and actually get creeped out! Like WHAT?!
I just don't understand the world today, folks. I'm sure many of you can relate with me. It's just pretty shocking (unlike this and other Hooked stories). But hey, if you wanna go get the app and go on through some on your own, by all means, do it up. I'll be sure to read more if it seems to be something you like.

sorties like this usually make me smile. as a published author at this point, I still remember where I started with my poorly written Naruto fanfiction. to this day I look for work written by young people who are clearly just starting and try and leave a nice, but helpful review. you never know who may grow into the next stephen king or j k rowling.

Yaya that's the joke. It's usually called the Freudian slip. Like in loony toons where daffy and bugs argue over duck season or rabbit season and daffy accidently says the wrong thing (a Freudian slip) My joke is that ella and Jacob are so similar to Bella and Jacob from the twilight moves and books that I'm "mistakenly" confusing the names (to show the lack of creativity and highlight the similarities)

The story was far from good, but it's all in the telling. You made me laugh my arse off!!! I must admit I never realised 'Meanness' was one of the deadly sins!!! Love the channel Rob, you seem to have a lot of the same loves for the dark side of life (just like me)

Eva Lise Højen Jensen There is a disconnect here though. I will never get to speak to these authors. They are not writing masterpieces anyway. They are writing quick, schlocky stories to fill content. I hope they are getting paid decently and that the app os doing well, but I could never give them any advice. These authors are not trying to push any boundaries or break any molds. They are simply putting up fluff pieces because that is the bread and butter of the app. My issue is not really with the content creators, but with the designers of the app.
