This is crazy, because I just flew home from my honeymoon, which was a Norwegian Fjords cruise! And we did the Pulpit Rock hike excursion as well (easily the 2nd hardest hike I've ever done) AND the Briksdal glacier hike! Looks like it was a different cruise line than yours, but I freaked out when I saw we had such similar vacations. I read a bunch of books based on Norse myths on my trip and it was wonderful.

I just went on a cruise last month and read The Stowaway by James S. Murray & Darren Wearmouth. It was a perfect popcorn serial killer thriller set on a trans-atlantic cruise!

Hmm.. I’m not sure which one to recommend that you read first. They were similar in quality to me. Though, funnily enough, One by One and The Death of Mrs Westaway are my two favourites. 🌦

I'm curious about The Woman in Cabin 10 now. I've only read The Death of Mrs. Westaway, which I think was a 4.5, and In a Dark, Dark Wood, which was a weak 3 (the only thing shocking about the ending was how completely obvious it was). I figured maybe I just wouldn't enjoy her earliest books, but maybe I will give Cabin 10 a try.

i haven't actually read it yet but you just reminded me that that's a concern i have too!! so i did some research and this is a quote from someone on goodreads - "No it's not necessary to have read any of Christies books. Although the author gives a nod to some of Christies books she also says she's not giving much away so as not to issue spoilers regarding Christie's books"

in a dark dark wood was fun, the lying game was the only ruth ware book i hated. like literally, i love all of her other books, but the lying game SUCKED. i do not recommend it ⛈⛈
