All three Mistborn books were 4 stars for me, and The final empire was definitely my favourite, but I also didn't really get that attached to the characters... Also, I am proud of you for reading Priory lol

proud of you that you finally read priory of the orange tree 👏my boyfriend loves Brandon Sanderson and has been trying to convince me to read mistborn for a while but i'm scared. Excited to read one dark window though - especially if it's a quick read. Also, I vote reading for 24 hours straight because I love to see the suffering/delusion 😅 but also agree, I can't go without sleep so I won't be TOO disappointed if you do the timer method.

When I read chunky books, I read-along with the audiobook for extra attention. My coworker called it “Double Dorking” and it’s all I could think when you mentioned having both the physical and the audio of Priority. I also love the little notebook of post-its! 😂

This is why I have made it my mission to make books this long my yearly book ... that why I am not forcing myself to read an 800+ book in one month. The Priory was my book last year ... started in February and finished in September, a month ahead of schedule. Made it my goal to read at least 100 pages a month. I am making A Day of Fallen Night my year book for 24. Just waiting for the paperback to come out in March. *that black dress was everything 🙌🏽 One Dark Window is a favorite mine! So amazing to hear people's opinions on it. ✨️

Okay, so most of Brandon Sanderson’s novels are set in The Cosmere (minus the Skyward series, the final few of The Wheel of Time and Alcatraz vs the evil librarians), literary equivalent of the MCU. They are all connected in some way but from what I understand it seems to be more Easter eggs/nods. I haven’t read them all yet so I can’t confirm that. The Way of Kings is part of The Stormlight Archives which is set in the Cosmere. Just in case you really wanted to know 😂

Month delaybut i'm back bby🤩🤣 My gal smashed it once again! The sticky notes are so relatable!! I bought some translucent ones off Amazon and stick them in at like the end of chapters for chonky books!❤ The Final Empire was so fun to buddy read, but i was gutted when you know who died, i was like NOOOOOO!!!! I liked Priory, like you say the writing was so much better than The Bone Season, it was chef's kiss but i felt it finished and wrapped up so quick. Also, you’re gorgeous, I wish i looked as good with my hair lmao. Also also, your tattoos are to die for!!! And finally, I am desperate to read One Dark Window and now I've finally got round to RU-vid its a sign!😅 Amazon here i come 🤪 lova ya beaut xxxx

I have never clicked on a video so quickly cant wait to see the full vlog of you reading Priory 😍 also a 50 minute vlog is chefs kiss 🎉 17:52 the bone season has been republished as she re wrote it to match her current style and apparently it is a lot better. I never read it when it originally came out but i have the new version that im planning on getting to this year at some point! 20:08 you did it 🎉 so glad you enjoyed it, can completely understand the confusion 😂 28:33 that package was top tier! 32:36 love the 24 hour readathon videos, I feel like timer is fun and as we see the real time progress 44:35 reading lights make great bookmarks 😂

I loved your thoughts on priory! You should pick up the bone season again. She rereleased the books last year since it was their 10th anniversary and she has gained more confidence in writing 😊 so you really should try it again. It’s my favorite series of all time and I reread them every year like you to with ACOTAR 😄

The story of your school friend literally gave me shivers right away and broke my heart...nobody should have to go through such a terrible thing! I tried to donate some money but could‘t because I‘m sending from Switzerland, is that possible? In german the priory is split into two books, german translations always end uplonger than the original. And so in german you have 1100 pages instead of 800.XD Still need to read the priory of the orange tree, but 1100 pages is a good chunk. Not sure how and when I wanna attempt this.

I switched to the audiobook for the final empire because I couldn't get into it. Loved it in the end because of the narrator so i'm probably going to continue the series as audiobooks

personally I prefer the timer method because it's properly 24 hours of reading whereas 24 hours straight isn't as you aren't reading for the whole thing.

i was so similar, i really couldn’t connect. glad i ended up finishing it but it’s defo not a favourite, so DNFing might be a good plan!
