*GASP* Prince Edward Island is where Anne of Green Gables is based!! I always recommend that book to everyone, it’s a easy to read classic that is just sunshine
Carley Fortune said that each of her books is a love letter to a place important to her, which makes a lot of sense why the scenery in her books is well done! I love that
Any time I’m feeling down I just go and watch an old Haley Pham. She has to be the most comforting RU-vidr! But man I love it when she posts!! Her and Ryan have to be the only RU-vidrs that I have taken the time to watch every single one of their videos 😂😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
As a Canadian who lived on Prince Edward Island for a few years, it is crazy to hear people dont know it exists! Such a beautiful place. Also have you not read Anne of Green Gables?! It is a Canadian classic!😜
Wait it's from Canada?! I'm a fan of it and I will see the seasons again because sadly I don't have the book 📚 when I grow up I want to live in Canada and do my university there + living which city idk I'm 13 but yea. I will live on Canada when I enter a university.
@@moonthedragon2198 The movie with Meaghan Fallows is far superior to the TV show Anne with and E. There are a few movies.. they're also much closer to the books.
I am here this early to show my gratitude and love towards Haley ❤. I have been following her for a while, she helped me get out of my down time by teaching me about books and all now I am all happy and better recovering from my trauma and finding a piece of myself in every book I read and I would like to thank Haley for this precious gift of books❤❤❤❤. I love you so much Haley, hope you stay happy and healthy forever. Praying for you every moment of my life ❤
i can't describe the comfort I have when watching your videos, you helped me fall back in love with reading and myself. Thank you Haley! You're truly an icon
I second that! I think she would love it. It is a book that really makes you think, which Haley seems to enjoy and has the intensity high stakes similar to Red Rising! Incredible series.
@@cozyyblanketthere is romance, but no spice at all. It is also a very small subplot of the book, so do not expect a lot of romance. It is a YA dystopian book about a world in which we have cured death. In order to keep the population under control, they have Scythes that are appointed that are responsible for killing people. So, the main characters are a boy and girl who have just been appointed to train as Scythes. You don’t get to choose if you are going to do it or not. Although a very dark concept, it is a very well written trilogy and really makes you think about the meaning of life and if our lives are only so valuable because of death.
i love you so so much. you and ryan are everything together, it genuinely makes me so happy. and your videos are so comforting. thank you for posting girly pop. ❤️❤️❤️
My fav Christina Lauren book is by faaaar Autoboyography. Heart-wrenching queer love story which dives deep into things like religion, sexuality, family etc. Honestly never hear anyone talking about it but it's amazing!
I love the vibes of all your videos! Love having them playing while I am being productive. It’s so motivating and it like having a friend with you :) Love you Haley :))
You never steered me wrong Haley! I read Hello Stranger by Katherine Center thanks to you and that's one of my only two solid 5-star reads this year. So happy you enjoyed Paradise Problem. I also agree about Carley Fortune, I couldn't really get into her book.
2:16, Hello Haley, I just wanted to Point something out that was kind of odd in your video.. at the exact time stamp I listed if you look to the right (or your left from where you were sitting in the video) you will notice a small, sparkly white thing flying around. Almost like a fairy lol, but the way I was raised is those little white orbs can also be spirits.. I’m not sure if your a believer and if your not, that’s totally okay! But either way that little thing was just kind of odd, and I know it sounds childish, but like I said it was just kind of weird, this small white orb started flying around before just disappearing into thin air. Have a nice day! 🤍 Ps. I loved those books you read.
Lauren Asher’s Dirty Air series is one of my favs!! Definitely recommend! You said you like books that have some sad sub plot or something they are working through, the third book in the dirty air series sounds like you might enjoy it, enemies(kinda) to lovers, sad sub plots, entertaining bickering, etc!
A 5 star Y/A Romance book that I just finished that I think you would enjoy is called Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. It's about a girl in her sophomore year of high school that looses her mom to cancer. Her mother's dying wish was for her to visit Italy and while she's there, live with the father she never met. She learns a lot about her mother's time in Italy, her mother's relationships, who her real father is, and all the while trying to navigate the grief, the jumble of emotions of living far away from home and falling in love with the literal boy next door. It's soo freaking cute and the PERFECT summer read and I had to physically remind myself I'm not in the Italian Countryside when I finished it.
Haley girl you need to make a video on how to tab + highlight your books!!! Edit: I just found out that it’s called to annotate so please make a vid for a new reader ❤️❤️
I gotta read one of these. I wanna read a romance with an over masculine male character and a feminine female character that are sort of the most down to Earth characters ever. A smart woman who's in love with practically a neanderthal. I feel like that'd be a good read, and would be relatable for me.
One of the book recs that I'd give you bc I absolutely think you'd love them is the Seven Sisters series. It's a romantic/historical novel. It'd be fun if you ever read that and put it in one of your videos! (The books are pretty long, each like 500-600 pages, but they're easily bingeable)
